Yeah I hadnāt heard shit about it until PAX, saw a panel where they were triple stuffed burrito type full of themselves talkin about creating entirely new genres and experiences never seen before. Played that shit on the show floor and it was LA Noire with wallhacks turned on and a good chunk of the fun sapped out. Talkin all that good shit about āit isnāt about walking around rooms clicking X until you have all the evidenceā but you werenāt allowed to progress until you did exactly that. And then like a month later it was released. Iām not sure Iād play it for free, at this point. Too many other games to choose from.
Iām good most of the week. Not sure about this weekend, though.
Looked at the Xbox app in Windows 8; there are no fucking games. There is this cheap Mexican knock off of Red Dead called Six Guns, which looks and runs even worse than Revolver. They also have vanilla BB on the marketplace, but it is no different than the Steam version barring the achievements.
Microsoft is pretty delusional if they think PC gamers will give two shits about Xbone integration on Windows 10. The only people who would actually utilize it are MS shills; the ones who attend MySQL seminars to lambast NoSQL. I know this feature is aimed at console gamers who own shitty Facebook/Youtube machines, but even thatās a stretch. The integration will roll out with a shit ton of bugs + streaming off a device will have a resolution and FPS cap. 
GFWL is looking much better in comparison (and it is).
Iāll see what I can do. My weeknights Iām either at a bar, with the girlfriend, seeing friends, or writing. I had to stop learning Japanese just so I had time to do other shit. My weekends are becoming those lazy days where I donāt do shit but sit at a bar and read books. I aināt mad at that, either.
It doesnāt help that Iām normally in bed by 10 p.m. when I have to work.
But whatever, if I can find the time I will shoot out batsignals. I really want to finish L4D2ās realism campaign with a group of reliable people.
Iām looking to get a new keyboard and mouse. The Logitech G510s keyboard is on sale for $70 and the Logitech G502 mouse is $70 too. Does anyone have any experience with either of these? Would you recommend something else in that price range? I play a little bit of eveything. Sorry for being so vague.

Game isnāt bad, but yeah lack of content hurts right now. The new map added seems veryā¦ I dunnoā¦ doesnāt seem to fit the game. Whatās more awkward is how buggy the new map is. So many times Iāve clipped through the wall and just slowly fell to my death.
Game speed makes sense, since a lot of people try to go āproā and do dash xx jump.
Basically movement works as such
Game goes by WASD for movement, and hitting any direction twice will give you a short hop (dodge).
If you jump (with Space) during the short hop, you get triple the distances from your short hop.
If you jump raw, you can double jump.
If you short hop off the walls, you basically turn into sonic. You are able to jump during this specific short hop for even more momentum.
BUT THEREāS A CATCH, landing from these options outside the double jump has recovery. Not a lot (like if I had to guessamate in fighting game terms, Iād say like 5 frames). So in a game this fast, yes thatās a lot. So Iād basically wait for people to jump around like an idiot, land, shoot, repeat.
You donāt double jump or dodge as high/far as you do in Unreal 04, but the regular ground movement (basically just walking) is faster than that of quake and unreal. HOWEVER, I feel the air combat is faster in quake/unreal, but thatās maybe because Iām not used to toxikk yet.
Iāll say the guns are a little unbalanced, as in your default gun is complete shit.
But yeah, game has a lot of potential.
The 502 is love. The 502 is life. No seriously I fucking love this mouse. It fits nicely in my hand, the adjustable weight is nice. Its precise, adjustable. Its only drawback is the scroll wheel is on the heavy end.
For the keyboard you can probably find a CM Quickfire for around the same price range and that gives you a good mechanical keyboard.

I have a Logitech MK320 which has served me well. It goes on sale often for $20 and comes with a compact mouse. The mouse I use is Logitechās MX518. Shit cost me $40 but Iāve had it for 5 years and itās still solid as fuck.

shit me too, i used my sister work keyboard one time and damn it felt like i was using one of those old ass nokia phones with the small keypad
The equivalent of having sanwa parts for each key and they have a very satisfying feel to it due to tactile feedback feedback depends on the type of switches . So yes it makes my balls tickle.
Iāve been getting by just fine with a cheap ass kensington keyboard but iām due for a decent upgrade since iāve had it for 5-7 years.
Have a non mechanical G105 that I got for 20 bucks since it was a discontinued CoD MW3 model. It works and all, but my cousin has a really nice Corsair mechanical keyboard that he won from PAX a couple years ago playing CS. Having played on both the difference is easily noticeable. Not gonna drop the cash on one anytime soon but Iād love to have one.
I had my K95 for over a year. Using a not mechanical keyboard feels alien to me now. It doesnāt have the same type of response and it wonāt register as many key presses.
