Questions for CS:GO players: How much money have you guys made from selling in-game items in the marketplace?
Thinking about stacking up my Steam wallet this way. TF2’s in-game economy is p much dead at this point; hats just couldn’t survive the test of time.
You can make alot of money on steam by trading/selling cs go items. If you play competetive games you can get like 3-4 weaponcases aweek , you can get weaponskins too , have to be really lucky to get something really valueable tho.
A friend of mine got a m4s knight which today sells for 320$ on marketplace. Just by playing competetive games.
It’s random. You get weapon cases and basic weapon skins that sell for pennies. To get the skins that are worth a lot you have to spend money buying keys to open the cases you get, and the thing is a majority of the skins in these cases are worthless, so it’s a huge gamble.
The skins and cases you do win just don’t sell for much. When Chroma Cases first released they were worth a shitload and I made a few bucks selling them, but now they’re not worth much. Whenever new cases get released in a patch, their value is nuts, so you could get a lucky drop early on and make a decent amount of money.
This skin is from a specific box you have to unlock with a key for a few bucks. Dude got really lucky, when I spent $3 on a $3 Chroma Cases I got a weapon skin worth like 15 cents. :o

noooo… M4s Knight is from the cobblestone collection , you don’t get these from weaponcases. it’s just really really rare drops.
and yeah i hear u , i’ve opened alot of cases myself just to get junk which i then end up betting away.
Bottomline is… People go absolutely insane for cs go skins.
Loaded up murdered soul suspect. Game loads in 720p windowed mode. Title screen has “press start” to continue with no controller plugged into my computer. Not a promising port so far.
These can all drop randomly in competitive play?
Damn. Is the Operation Vanguard single-player DLC thing worth getting, or are a majority of the skins that come with it worthless?
Premise of that game was pretty cool, but from what I played at PAX it was a L.A. Noire clone with even less to do outside of searching for clues in the environment. They tried to talk it up like it was a totally different game from that too, but it just wasn’t at all.
As someone who still defends L.A. Noire as a good game, I was really unimpressed with what I saw of Soul Suspect. Reviews say about the same as well.

usually drops are just trash. And no don’t buy a vanguard pass , if you have $ on your steam acc ,

I saw Murdered: Soul Suspect on clearance at Best Buy for $10-15 months ago. I almost picked it up, but it’s published by Square Enix without Eidos on the box(red flag) and I had never heard about it before. Stealth release(red flag #2.)
After watching videos I’m glad I didn’t. It looks really dull on the gameplay front.
