Awesome, thank you. I kept seeing how some would be supported but not fully.
I sometimes forget the pleasure of booting a freshly formatted hard drive with a new os. How quick everything is before I fill it with all my shit. First thing I did upon installing 8.1pro though was putting classicshell over the start button and button straight to desktop. Fuck your start screen microsoft!
I was an early adopter of 8.0. I had no problems with it, but Iām aware Iām in the minority there.
I have access to the early access windows 10, I might put it on my old laptop if it meets the specs. But anyway I say this because I get the windows 10 preview emails, and they have something like 1.5 million beta testers right now.
I Just canāt afford an unstable OS on the machine I work on. My laptop barely runs fine on 4GB of RAM so I donāt want to push it with a new OS. If my desktop becomes a brick Iād have to go into the office every day.
Elaborate why. The only reason I recommend 8 GB or higher cause itās actually hard to find a cheap pack less than 8 GB. Otherwise, if youāre only gaming, 8 GB of Ram isnāt gonna do much for ya. SHIT IS 95% CPU AND GPU AND PEE PEE YOU!!
most games minimum specs are 8 gigs now, when they launch, so thats a reason. Also the fact of just being able to browse the web with like 40 windows open. Multitasking, as well. I run a lot of programs, and visualizations, so I dedicate ram there too. Hell, I have 16gb of ram. Price wise, it just makes sense to go for 8 over 4, the price difference isnāt that big, but the difference on your pc is.
Doesnāt mean you need 8 gigs of ram to run it at 100%.
IE, like those people who see max specs where you NEED i7 when really an i5 would do better.
Not to mention, most devs who put up PC specs donāt know shit about PC requirements to begin with.
They just give a hard estimate and determined the standard and just go on from there.
