The Xbone controller is even worse than the 360 controller, surprise surprise.
It may have the superior dpad, but it fucked everything else up. Fun fact about microswitch d-pads: they die out. My beat up PSX digital controller still registers dpad inputs.
If you’re such a kb/m warrior Val, then why do you hold a preference between pad brands? Straight up scrub shit, son.
there are ways of getting things that only ship to America, to ship to Canada, mostly due to USA’s postal service being pretty fucking dumb…sneaky ways…
My Afterglow Wired 360 Controllers still work. I agree with Rick Ross that the Xbone controller is worse than the 360 controller, but the 360 controller was better than anything that Sony put out, IMO. So much so that they sell Playstation controllers that are basically Xbox controllers.
Although I use the 360 wired controller on PC for convenience, I will say that the DS4 is my personal pad preference. It’s what I use for fighters on PS3/4 until I get a PS3/4 stick (if at all).
I should’ve mentioned this before, but the size of my hands make the Playstation controllers less comfortable than the 360 one. I’ve played with the PS4 controller, but it still doesn’t feel as good as a 360 controller.
I have an afterglow controller. Shit’s annoying.
The button for the light is loose, so like, fuckin controller would rumble when I’m playing my vidya games thing goes into a rave.
Like, wtf man, I don’t want this shit! WHY YOU GLOW SO BRIGHT!!
drwill does have a point, you need some bitch ass hands to use the ps pads for more than 5 mins, they have the best design, ergonomics n all that but fs they are small.
After upgrading to an SSD, I feel I owe it to my wife to upgrade her terribly aging computer to one. She doesn’t game outside of sim city 4 (on rare occasions), so an SSD alone could keep that thing going for the foreseeable future. And it wouldn’t take a year to boot.
They are getting more and more inexpensive. Whatever you do though, don’t cheap out completely and go OCZ. Their SSD’s are terrible. If ever you want to invest in a really good one though, the Intel 730 series is where it’s at. The HyperX I just linked though is a damn good bang for your buck. I am currently using two of them in raid 0.
I have a Crucial M500 480gb SSD, and I have no issues with it. I got lucky with mine, so it didn’t cost me too much. You can get by with a smaller SSD, like 240gb, and those won’t cost you more than 100 bucks.
