Just what I was looking for. I built a PC about two years about, when SSD’s were ridiculously high. So with an oncoming bonus, I’m looking to finally make the jump. What makes the OCZ so bad, if you don’t mind me asking?
My SSD is refurbished and I did have trouble at first installing my OS. Not sure why, but 3rd time trying to install it, all of a sudden it worked. Since then, been like what, 6 months and everything is good.
Well “sign up for” just means clicking a box on Battle.Net, so yes. Who the fuck knows who will get in and who won’t with them. I’m JUST NOW starting to play HotS and trying to figure out how on earth that grandma friendly MOBA is gonna have a Ranked mode.
Dualshock 4 is 100x more ergonomic than the 360 controller + the Bone pad.
The entire point of the OG DS design was for quick inputs, and all that good stuff. There was once a time in gaming where you didn’t grip on your controller for 6+ hours, pressing down the analog sticks and few extra buttons, only to watch cutscenes.
So yeah. 360 pad = for scrubs who play cinematic shooters. OG Dualshock pads = for games you go ham in. PS4 pad = for every game out there. Xbone + OG Xbox Duke & Akebono pad = who the fuck even touches that shit?
I have to go with DA:I, even though I’m only 20 hours in. I did really really enjoy the stick of truth though, and if I hadn’t been played DA it would have been my winner.
Best PC exclusive 2014: Shadowrun: Dragonfall Directors Cut
Best non PC Exclusive: One Finger Death Punch
Best new piece of hardware: I didn’t buy any gaming hardware in 2014 that was released that year, so I will withdraw.
Although I’ve been playing games on PC for years, 2014 was the year I truly doubled-down on PC gaming. The timing could not be better, as console gaming in 2014 was pretty disappointing: if it wasn’t for The Evil Within (which I would have got for PC if my brother didn’t also want to play it), my PS4 would have been collecting dust all year.
I’m sure 2015 will be better for consoles, and consoles will still be my first choice for fighting games, but it’s official: 2014 was the year I officially became a PC gamer.
Actually I can answer that, I picked up a EVGA 750 GTX ti sc 2gb for 100 bucks and it is incredible. Edit: Also the hardware was released march 2014 so yea, top billing.
