What doesn’t make me lol is that ass ass creed has micro transactions that’ll allow you to purchase more powerful weapons with real money. Sure, you can get those weapons through in-game currency, but that takes up too much time, so use real money instead to get it instantly!

finally got around to playing risk of rain (thanks to gren) and the game is pretty dope. i like the art style and dynamic difficulty (although it’s linear and based on time), i would have like to see it based on skill rather than time.
finished playing a point and click called the cat lady, pretty outstanding, very memorable, visually striking, and deals with serious themes (depression, life and death)
i couldnt get into VK, gave it 10 hours worth, never clicked with me, one of the few games ive never finished once started. couldnt tell weather the game was bad or it was biased didnt give it much thought, probably biased.

What’s your budget look like and will you be running your headphones directly from your computer? Also, do you like certain aspects of your music emphasized like bass, or do you prefer more of a neutral headphone?

I never thought of budget I guess around $150 seeing as how most PC headset sites are saying headsets costing more than that are usually ripoffs as you’re paying for the extra bells and whistles not better sound quality. I don’t know what kind of sound I prefer not much of a headset phile, but I guess neutral tone would be better for single player games especially horror games which is what I’m most excited to use them for.

You might want to take a look at the Sennheiser PC line. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Sennheiser PC360 got close to your price range since it’s been around there before. It’s usually around $200-250ish.

And it’s somewhat of an impulsive thing for me I had no desire to buy a PC headphone until @Serpent mentioned wanting one in the black friday thread and the n I thought…I wonder if PC headphones/headsets are worth it since I plan on buying a 7.1 surround souns system in a year or two.
Hahaha. Didn’t notice that. If you’re getting a new sound system, I wouldn’t bother with a headset. Oh and those Sennheisers went to around $125-150 during the last black friday, so I’d still keep an eye on them.

GTX 970 if you want max value and plow through gpu requirements. $300-350 for a card that can compete with those $1000 cards toe to toe. A friend bought one for $340 that came with farcry 4.
Check for deals for the GTX 760~ or so series. I bought a 760 for a friend for $100 no tax that was on a really strict budget. Waiting on that black friday/cyber monday deals for the rest of my parts as well.
