Ya those loading times are crap compared to the PS2 version for dragon quest 8. Seems to run pretty choppy as well.

Oh shit. That was my main squad too. This port is so freaking great. Love the in-game graphics. Plus, this game will always bring back fond memories of Beta getting killed repeated by Musaad.
Too bad FF13 only goes up to 720P, at least itās 60 FPS though. Thereās a few hiccups in the port as well, but if you never played it on 360, i guess itās not that bad. My sister had the game and FF13-2, for years, but now i might take the lunge into the 13 series and just play it on PC. (save me the stories, iām fully aware of how these games have been perceived by fans)

VC sold because it was a reasonably well done PC port of a cult classic. If theyād sort out their issues porting games properly, theyād sell more too.

EDIT: just started tonight. Apparently turning vsync on makes my game run in slow motion. With it off, no issues, resolution and frame rate are perfectly fine. No tearing at all. Whatever, vsync.
Also for all Iāve heard about this game not being typical anime tropes, itās anime as FUCK. You get into the awkward romantic subplot with the emotionally vulnerable tomboy before you even get to the main story, and youāve got an āadoptedā sister? In a Japanese game? If this DOESNāT go where everyone knows itās already going, it gets 10/10 best anime game ever JUST for not doing that. Because fuck that shit. I donāt play that oni chan bullshit.
Aside from the typical anime gripes, it seems like a cool game so far. Weāll see if it really does get more serious down the line. Just had everyone I know personally whoās played it tellin me itās not all typical anime shit, and so far a good chunk of it is.

Graphics card will fit nicely until I see the 770 go under 200 then I will switch the card over to a mini media center build.
Hell I might even keep it and just get another for the media build since it will play all my games without problems and the games my friends want to play.

The system seems cool though, still not anywhere dangerous yet. Although I did find out that when they said engineers have poor combat skills, they REALLY meant it. Didnāt lose mans, but still. I can see why people are so high on it, especially if they actually LIKE anime.
Could say the same for Rogue Legacy. Iām not sure why Iām so late to the party as it pertains to games like that, but I just got it yesterday on sale and Iām hookedā¦
