Not as many as I’d like to see. Earlier I was looking at their list of Free For All servers and there’s 0 under the classic ruleset. Then again, I can’t see any Premium servers that might exist because I don’t have a premium account. Not that I care to give them money just so they can keep making stupid changes instead of actually fixing real issues with this game. Numerous bugs reported and numerous requests made by players, and they spent the time before the last update adding medals and changing the voice over. Brilliant.

I played a match in a few gametypes under the new rules, and they were all reduced to being mostly clusterfucks of rocket spam. Despite having visible item timers I was still timing the Quad in an FFA match better than everyone else, because I’m pretty sure I was the only one bothering to pay attention to the timer. I took it a few times uncontested and managed to win the match. The TDM match was mostly spawn with rocket launcher, go to quad spot, spam the shit out of it until the Quad spawns, then spam some more as you fight for it. Shite. Domination, which was already a shitty rip-off of an already shitty UT gametype, limits your weapons to the two you select as your loadout. So guess what everyone in the match and their mothers chose to spawn with? Yep, rocket and grenade launchers. God dammit.

Maybe it’ll get better with time, but at this point I’m almost hoping that other free FPS games like Xonotic and Warsow, or even the upcoming UT will put Quake Live out of its misery, and we can all go back to Q3A and CPMA and forget the last few years happened.

Yea QL has “loadouts” now. I was surprised when I saw that this was part of the new changes everyone was talking about. After playing a few brief games of FFA I can’t say it’s a bad idea. Not saying it improved the game either. :shrug:

It’s funny how newbs have no idea how to deal with LG users. Draw a bead on them when they’re out in the open and it’s over. I’m not a big fan of the loadout selections but I always go for the one with LG. Rocket spammers and the like make easy targets for LG.

I’ve never been able to time Items for shit, which is one of the core reasons why I never progress in Duel. Just saying some stuff I have in my mind on Quake.

Now, I know it’s Game Theory and people piss on the guy for… making vids so whatever.
Granted, this theory he made may come across as a stretch, but an interesting video none the less. Don’t mind the first 2 minutes, he actually mocking players who title this game the “scariest game of all time”, so yeah, he’s being ironic. But none the less, wtf @ the chuck e cheese incident, shit sounded crazy.

As for the game itself, I think it’s awful, but maybe the “lore” is good? I dunno.
Jump scares do little nothing to me, and since the game relies heavily on jump scares, its hard to get immersed with the game. But I will say, the trailer to FN@F part 2 looks like a lot of fun since you’ll be managing a lot of ways to not die. The way I look at it is a more complicated version of Defend the Tower.

That video seemed so legit. People shit on GT, but I always liked the videos they put out, especially the one about Legend of Zelda ones.

But this specific video kinda creeped me out, like creepy pasta with evidence.

What dumbass shits on GT? Most of his videos are on point, dude puts more thought, eloquence, and logic into his videos than 99% of gamers and even the few videos he has where he is clearly reaching he makes it obvious he is joking and trying to make something out of nothing rather than passing it off as legit.

The man definitively proved Mario to be a communist. Nuff said. Oh wait it’s just a theory

my pedals on my g27 crapped out on me a few days ago, was playing assetto corsa on the rift. SO fucking sweet, can’t tell you enough how nice good quality games are in VR. need to fix the pedals so I can play it again Lol

also elite dangerous is in beta 3, shit this game just gets better and better, was losing hope for a while with beta 2- they took out the scale of planets and the lighting was dull when going from the fabled 2.0 to 2.1. 2.0 didn’t have stars in the distance but fuck was it beautiful and felt so REAL like REALLY REAL being in the darkness of space with HUGE illuminating planets leaning over you. but now the game has more of whats supposed to be there and feels like I’m in some kind of movie with all the things going on, there are player interdictions now which you can escape from before getting sucked into their location, think of final fantasy battle phasing but being able to intercept it and escape

looks and plays amazing and apparently loads more things will be added to the game. you can also lock onto a ship thats warp speeded away from battle and interdict them if your ship is fast enough. the developers also mentioned battling during super cruising which should be something like this

EDIT: Steam page up, save $2 w/preorder. Hmm, those full-size screenshots ain’t lookin’ too hot. It’s just the artstyle. Sega Twitter states it’ll support internal 1080p & higher resos, also 60 fps.

EDIT 2: Bought it from GMG w/ coupon “SLICKD-EALS22-OFFGMG” for a total of $14.04. I want more console ports, Sega.
