I got fb manager, reus, prison architect and skyrim cards to spare if anyone wants it. Managed to buy torchlight II, Borderlands 2 dlc and MK9. Though MK9 requires a lot of power to run, I got to change the settings.
Hang on to those summer trading cards a little longer. Prices are starting to go up a bit. Might be able to snag couple more nickles for them in the next few days
They tell you which of your friends have the cards you need, I hit some up and traded and completed my setā¦
then learned you can go to level 2 and above by crafting more! lol
For completing the set, I got a badge, a background image for my profile page, and an emote for chat (mini airplane wtf) and of course experience to level up (+5 friends on my list)
^ Pre-order bonus on their site gives you the original RoTT for free+the Blake Stone games.

Iāll be getting the GOG.com release, but Iāll keep Steam open if you guys want to get some matches going. Game looks like the #1 arcade/arena style FPS to come out in a long, long time.
Q3 and especially UT04 are among my favorite multiplayer shooters but for some reason Iām not that hype for RoTTā¦maybe itās the gun sounds or their lack of impact but it just doesnāt have that visceral feeling those games do.
Enemies and players explode into āludicrous gibs!ā when they die to an explosion. You donāt get a better sense of impact than that, and thatās about as visceral as it gets. Iād say RoTT is gorier and a in lot of cases more off the wall than Q3 and UT2K4. It looks that way to me anyway, I canāt wait to play it.
This entire generation has gotten very few arena/arcade-style FPS games, and RoTT looks way better than them all.
I just preordered rise of the triad, so Iām definitely down for getting a group of srk members and getting some games in. Iām also down to play any of the Unreal tournaments (99,04, and 3)as well. Steam ID: FadedRevolution
Got a 50% off Alan Wake franchise coupon from crafting a badge. If anyone wants it add me on steam and send me a message. http://steamcommunity.com/id/D1rtyMcN4sty/ Iāll be on for a little while longer tonight. The coupon expires on the 29th.
I bought a mid-level Sager almost 2 years ago for around that budget and it plays Planetside 2 about as well as I could hope for, as poorly optimized as that game is. Great price for gaming computers and no bloatware on it. I know a lot of people donāt buy i7ās in desktops unless they stream to save some cash, but laptops arenāt the same cpus.
My current keyboard is straight. A Logitech K350 but the keys are getting sticky and itās making typing annoying. Plus itās rather big on my desk. Still works 100% fine but I think I want something moreā¦ tactile.
Thatās my keyboardā¦almost its a slightly different make I believe. Iāll check when I get home though. Iām not a keyboard enthusiast by any means, mostly because I am ass at KB+M controls, but I like mine a lot. Typing on it feels great, hasnāt given me any trouble in 8 months.
^ Pre-order bonuses are up on GOG for Rise of the Triad: 2013.
I use a random-ass keyboard that Iāve had since 2001. The WASDZXCVBFGE keys are all completely faded from all the gaming I did on it over time, combined with the 1 key, caps lock, tab, alt and ctrl on the left side being completely faded too. Thingās a beastā¦I have a spare keyboard lying around somewhere but I will never change keyboards until this one magically breaks/dies, but I donāt see that happening ever.
I used a random-ass Creative branded mouse, but the right click died, so my brother gave me his stock HP branded mouse. It works fine. Iāve gone through 2 mice and 2 PCās but I still use the same keyboard, PSU, PC case and fans.
