I might learn how to use it and make something with it. I wouldn’t know what to do with DOTA 2, but I could put together a decent map on TF2 given the time.
Continuing to check out my cousin’s steam library, anyone tried that Frozen Synapse game? It came out a while back I guess as a mobile game, but it’s a pretty cool turn based strategy game.
Just completed Witcher 2, I’m late to the party.
WTF, the story to that game is… like legit.
I don’t get it, when people praise story for games, everyone throws flowers at like Last of Us and shit. But Witcher 2 story was really fuckin’ good. Upon looking into this, I found out it’s basically based off a novel, which explains everything.

Also got done with Far Cry 3.
Game’s voice acting threw me off guard, shit was top tier. When Vaas read his lines, it never sounded like it came off a script.
And honestly, I’d say the in-game character didn’t do the VA justice. During times when Vaas would throw random temper tantrum, it’d feel that the in-game model wouldn’t capture correctly as to how Vaas reacted. But still, it was all on point.
I honestly don’t know what to play next on my list, as I just want some brain dead action, or a great action-RPG game.
Looking at Risen 3, seems promising, I suppose.
Someone told me it plays like Gothic 3, which I purchase but haven’t gotten around to playing it. I will say, Gothic 3 does have an amazing OST.
I really don’t like this shit…when I buy PC parts then the next week they go on sale at least $10 cheaper than when I bought it.

The translation of the 3rd book of the saga (5 books total) was just released. It’s a pretty legit series, and gives insight to the games.
That’s just the way PCs are, man. Most places will give you a rebate if you contact them and give them your sales info. I know New Egg and Tiger Direct will.

Well the thing is I got a rebate from Newegg for the CPU I bought last week…then I turn around and see that Amazon is currently selling the same CPU for $30 cheaper than what I paid for even with the rebate.
Happens every time when I shop between them.
Fucking going to have to deal with it…all that matters I get my parts ready, and this PC up and running soon so I can at least get back into PC gaming. I’ve got a Steam backlog that I’m itching to knock down a peg or two.
Probably going to buy a good 1TB drive just for the games I’ll install…another 2TB drive for acquisitions…and get a 250GB SSD drive for system necessities only.

i cant believe i forgot about sine mora, that game is amazing and it actually has a story which is basically none existent in that genre. on steam when i was playing i held a lot of the records on the leaderboards, it’s been awhile so im not sure if im still at the top.

I scooped Witcher 1 + 2 during the Steam Summer Sale for $6 total. How long did it take you to go through 2?
Bloodborne is being published by Sony & co-developed by its Japan Studio. Given the history of Sony-produced games, that’s one title I don’t think will ever be ported.
This. It’s more comparable to Demon’s Souls (Which has remained PS3-exclusive) rather than Dark Souls + Dark Souls II, which was cross-platform from the get-go and published by Namco.
