Anyone ever had this happen: I was downloading a game off of steam. It was at 99% when it shot all the way back down to 29% and now I have to wait as it downloads again.
Reason: Most games being developed today are either Retro-style indie games that are either shit or amazing, or games being developed are designed for console and ported over to PC (and we all know that consoles, even the PS4 and Xbox 1 are running on 3 year old hardware). And for games that are PC Only or were designed for PC at first (aka the Witcher) are so well optimize on PC, that even a potato can run Witcher 2 and it’ll still run amazing on Medium to High settings.
In short, get yourself a really good i5 for now and worry about the rest later. In the next 4 years, your only worry may be to only upgrade your video card, but who knows what will happen.
Nigga, you missing out.
Shit isn’t that furry (I should know), it’s no different than sonic-ish character design. Game is fun as fuck with a boss that’ll kick your ass. Get that shit, or you fucked up.
FYI: The story is ass, shit is fanfic-tier with characters you cannot steal.
if you really liked the 2nd one which it sounds like you did, im sure you will enjoy it. it’s more of the same, but less? if that makes sense. the writing is worlds better in 2 and the world is much more realized. let us know what you think of the first one.
i will get around to playing divinity, it’s getting so much hype and solid reviews. im hoping to go through the story in coop, sounds pretty legit.
I’m about 4 hours into the first one right now and see just how much better the second one is in every possible aspect. But hey, I get to experience the storyline that leads up to Presequel and 2 so I’m good.
Not having a minimap is killing me though. And I’m annoyed I can’t get all the achievements since the online mode is shut down.
I heard part 1 was boring as fuck, so I didn’t touch that shit.
Part 2 looks interesting, but I dunno… I dunno… I just don’t know.
Game is easy to get lost in, and the story isn’t all that great. But the boss battles are actually really neat.
The amount of options you’re given can be overwhelming. There’s so many ways you can approach battles due to the fact that there’s so many ways to change the environment in your favor.
Just remember, don’t underestimate the amount of options in this game.
Borderlands 2 is the most fun I’ve had with a game in quite a few years. I currently have over 60 hours played in steam but I had more than twice as that last year when I pirated the game. This 60 hours is me playing it again.
I see buddies of mine on it all the time on my steam list, and even those who talk down on it I catch them playing it at random occasions. I guess my reason why I avoid is cause of the mark Hellgate London left on me and for some reason the game reminds me of it.
Hate to double post, but on a different subject on hand, a new MMO was released today.
It’s a sci-fi MMO called Firefall that’s been reworked several times. It originally had a failed idea come into play, having the game scraped and re-done again.
Yea, yea, mmos suck dick, what’s new. But, uh, this one looks different. Gameplay makes the game look more like Tribes Ascend meets… a leveling system of some kind.
Game is Free to Play, but I’m unable to try it out at the moment since my work computer can’t run it.
Thoughts?
