And yet, Xrd isnât slated for a PC release yet. Console manufacturers are terrified of the PC market and constantly do backroom deals to keep PC games either released late, not at all, or in shitty quality. You tellin me Watch Dogs looked that bad on PC because someone on the development team fucked up? Microsoft wouldnât even let PS3 games look better than 360 games, or theyâd refuse to gold them. Same shit.
Seriously, fuck those sonic autistic cry babies. GET GOOD SCRUB! EVERYONE ELSE HAD TO DO IT. Guys just want that shit spoon feed to them, the bosses are perfectly fine the way they are (shit, some of the best bosses Iâve ran into in any platformer).
Granted, they said Hard mode will remain intact, but I donât know manâŚ
Worse case; they can allow players to switch to the vanilla build.
If it was a Souls game theyâd be praising it for not holding your hand and giving you a challenge because it is the only series in the world that is allowed to be hard and still get good reviews :bluu:
Every other game will get docked points for having any type of challenge or difficulty, especially if it is harder than a Souls game.
i would say no. skip it, part 2 was better in every respect.
it feels about as good as it looks. itâs not extremely fast, itâs more methodical. there are some enemies that are insanely fast when it comes to wave dashing but they are exceptions and not main playable characters (captured enemy souls).
if you ever pick it up let me know, id be down for some coop
People like TotalBiscuit were giving this game props for boss difficulties, feeling like old school times.
I love reading peopleâs feedback in regards to this game, only to mention the final boss but have perseverance through out the game (ie. like Holy Knightâs post)
Funny you mention Dark Souls, Iâve even made a remark about it in the difficult thread in regards to your statement saying how, if the Dark Souls devs wouldnât even be able to finish their sentence had they mention a difficulty nerf.
I know, I know, Hard mode will have everything the way it is, but I donât want new players to go out of their way adjusting the difficulty, only to find out that the boss was much harder before hand. That surprise is what gets everyone, and since my selling point was to tell people how hard the game was, I donât know what else to say aside from that itâs a good sonic-clone which is apparently a bad thing to state.
LATE EDIT: Actually, I love how the guys who made Divinity Original Sin made an RPG close to the old school unforgiving of gameplay, and itâs selling like hot cakes when everyone and their moms believed that this style of game couldnât survive now a days. Everyone there complains about how hard it is (shit, even old school RPG gamers), and the devs are like âlol, nigga, turn down the difficulty you scrubs!â
@HeaT Iâm bored and got 2 weeks without doing much. Iâm going to play through it if I can get it for under $10 just because I enjoyed the world and the writing so much.
Had this problem with Super Meat Boy. I took the game to a friendâs house. My buddy, whoâs an avid Dark Souls player, rage quit after a few levels because âThis Mario shit shouldnât be so fucking hard!â I think he wouldâve snapped my laptop in half if we were playing I Wanna Be The Guy
Yo, I got several new games a few months back but have yet to play them. Dark Souls 2 and Child of Light come to mind. Gotta get outta this funk and play them mofos.
RPGâs can be hard for those who dont make good choices as it pertains to resource management (which is what a lot of games in the genre boil down to). If your healer is killed by a boss and you didnât save enough potions or donât have a backup plan for this situation, youâll likely find yourself a little mixed up trying to adapt (depending on the game and your level of skill at the game)
I guess I can see that, only because the reason for the high difficult in Divinity is due to people not reading⌠anything!
Most of the hints and objectives are placed in front of you, but in wording (no markers of any kind). So in order to obtain a sense of direction, youâll need to read most of the dialogue placed in front of the player.
Funny enough, whenever youâve reached said destination, your characters will speak about being at said destination and explain what to come next. Iâm sure players who donât review their quests are baffled when such sequences occur.
