Gotta love these 3-day weekends. Found the time to knock 3 out of my Summer Sale purchases (Electronic Super Joy & its sequel, & Double Dragon Neon) plus Guacamelee from a bundle deal (Lara Croft skin is dope because the creator went the extra mile & created custom animations where she uses her pickaxe/pistol/bow & arrow instead of punches).
Playing Lost Planet 3 (yeah I bought it during the sale; big whoop, wanna fight about it?), because itās the perfect brain-dead game to play on a hot summer day surrounded by empties; not a lot of reading & critical thinking required, and not too demanding of oneās dexterity & reflexesā¦pretty much the definition of the modern day me-too corridor shooter. At least Jim is a likable chap, much more relatable than Wayne ātypical deadpan Asianā Holden.
Did anyone actually get into that Evolve Alpha? I didnāt.

If I didnāt still have a working 360 controller, Iād bite. Unlike the Dual Shock 4 it works natively with Windows, and the d-pad is supposedly better than the 360ās. I was raging at times when platforming in Guacamelee; input the direction for one special move but instead get another.

Its a lot of fun, shits on other mobas IMO. Really it feels like a different genre almost. 20 min games are godlike, and no downtime at all
So thereās a relatively load buzzing sound coming from computer. It gets really loud at random times, even when Iām running MS Word. When the buzzing goes harder, my computer crashes.
For the record, itās not coil whine. The sound my computer makes is more rougher and grater-ish.
I traced the sound down to either my MOBO or CPU. Some say it might be my video card, but I highly doubt thatās the case since I tested it out in my friendās computer just to double check. What do you guys think? Need some input before I make a move.
Any idea if itās your hard drive?

Need to open up m computer tomorrow and trace it down exaggerated.
Youāre going to have to open up your case and try every thing that spins one by one until you find out what makes that noise. Unless you just get lucky and can use a stethoscope (a straw stuck in your ear) and can track it down that way. Mobo shouldnāt have a fan on it, so if itās not a video card, it would have to be either the CPU fan, PSU fan or some case fan. Most likely, itās the CPU fan since itās causing a crash.
