Couldn’t get Deadly Premonition to run apparently a lot of people can’t, but fixed the problem thanks to steam user comments love this community, will definitely play and beat it this week
I loved Electronic Super Joy, the pro gay theme was interesting, the audio and visuals were as GDLK as the game play which stayed fresh the whole 3 hours, really tight controls and clever level design that wasn’t too easy or too hard.
I snatched a free copy from when I worked at a store selling PC parts, so there really wasn’t any regrets for me, lol. Except grabbing more copies and free games (i gifted soooo many copies of “buy XXXXX video card, get YYYYY game” cards to SRK peeps and friends).
I got it for 360, and played it, and didn’t get far, and was pretty “meh”. Then awhile later, i pirated it for PC, and played a bit more, and the story gets good, the missions are probably up there with, if not better than, GTA missions (mainly cuz the story was damn good), and the combat and abilities you unlock get hella fun.
Sleeping Dog’sis a badass asian training manual, or a weeaboo’s best friend.
anywho, add Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition to my list. I added it to my cart, and forgot to checkout, but luckily it kept the flash price somehow o.0
This is the fucking 4th time I have bought Mortal Kombat 9 lol. Got it at launch, bought a copy for a buddy, rebought it after the fire for the GOTY edition or whatever for 360, and now for pc.
edit: does anybody have Adventure Card 7 or 9? I am unable to use the market yet, and need them to complete the set
Note that Oath in Felghana is actually a 3D remake and a very good one. perhaps one of the best remakes ever. the original had more similarities to Zelda II.
while it is available on PSP, I’d recommend the Steam version, there is also a patch that adds the Japanese and English voices of the PSP to the PC version, making the PSP redundant.
I’d recommend Ys Origins first, as it explains the story of Ys and it is the only Ys game where the main lead talks. this makes the story more engaging.
also there bosses are a little easier.
Oath in Felghana has passable bosses too and offers much better music and gameplay. But the moment you have to fight Chester a second time, I found the game very difficult on normal. The level of difficulty then rises significantly.
he and the last boss are the only difficult areas.
but this stage and its music is perhaps the apex of the Ys series
if you want more similarities with Zelda 1 style games, you can play the Ys I and II remakes on Steam.
I am fucking  right now. My shit stain friends were playing WoW on my computers for 24 hours on end, yasterday. Did not get a chance to snag MGR and Oath in Felgahana.
Well, looks like I will be fixing up gta 3 and 4 to play on my computer. Speaking of which, does anybody know how to force gta 4 to run in x64 mode?
Does anyone know what the settings should be on the DPfix mod? The windowed/borderless full screen options especially confuse me since if I enable either one the game crashes when I try to run it.
Turns out ESJ Groove City if more of an expansion/DLC add-on than an all out sequel. There are far fewer stages (like 15) & for the most part the level design seems to over-rely on homing missiles to harass, as opposed to the original’s more varied use of obstacles.
lol, I went straight for the expansion with Baldur’s Gate, and realized I’ve forgotten WAY too much about the game to do that. So back to the OG while I take a trip down memory lane. Fuck, I still remember that first dungeon though, and how much I hated it.
Anybody have Grim Dawn? We don’t have a thread for that yet, and I dunno if enough people own it, to warrant a thread.
