It’s fucking horrible. Not only that but my current speed is 6d/1u. And that’s the very best I can get by this ISP.
Sounds like you guys need some freedom
I don’t understand why collectively you dont band together and make your own isp
I’ve been playing so much Risk of Rain. So good.
I went pretty easy this time…I still have a good amt of games I bought previously during steam sales that I haven’t touched yet or haven’t played very much.
Purchases
Brothers: A tale of two suns
Pacman DX all you can eat edition
Bastion
World of goo
Dust: An Elysian Tale
The Swapper
There is one more game that I’m on the fence about. Dark Souls 2. If it went half off, I would have picked it up for sure. 1/3 off is solid, but I have more than enough games to last me til Winter sale. Then again Dark Souls 2 is one of those games I’ve tremendously looked forward to.
@Valaris you rat fucking bastard, lol
I’ve been getting great speeds lately, but I also have been downloading a ton of shit at work (buy with iPhone, download on my pc automatically while I work…YOU FUCKING GENIUSES, STEAM)
I need to actually play some of these games still, tho
Same here. I was hoping this entire time that there would be a huge discount on DS2, but it doesn’t look like it.
I didn’t buy too much as I already have about 200+ games on steam and haven’t played 2/3 of them, plus I have 103 games on my wishlist lol.
Batman: Arkham Asylum GOTY
Betrayer
Call of Juarez: Gunslinger
Cloudbuilt
Far Cry 1, 2, and Blood Dragon
Sleeping Dogs collection
$35 well spent
Be best prepared to die like crazy online.
There’s always a few folks online thank god, but jeez they are experts at the game.
I mean I had hundreds of hours clocked in and had a good number of achievables and awards unlocked on the ps2 version, so I thought I was pretty good at the game. I thought wrong.
Moment I got online all I got was blown up and jobbed like a rookie.
So…be best prepared to die like you’ve never died before.
That said, SWB2 online steam is fun as fuck. Dream come true.
Only negative is that you are gonna be a while customizing & mapping out the control schemes. Cuz if you jump into a tank you have to stop the game to customize your controller layout. its a hassle.
I thought Battlefront 2 online mode got taken out last month? You can no longer play online as far as I know, or so it warns you when you buy the game.
We all know Battlefront 3 will be Battlefield 4 with a SW skin
Don’t forget the $40 of DLC in the 3 months after release, too.
The 2 games I really wanted but didn’t end up getting were the Ys games. Which are Zelda like but have a arcade feel to them in that boss battles require a sort of pattern strategy to master to be able to defeat them.
This video explains all. Including how difficult the boss fights are.
also this is a Ys psp game.
but the game I ended up getting cuz it was the only one I could afford this weekend was this one.
I am not pleased.
I’m obviously not hardcore enough for Ys games. Bosses take forever to kill and require actual execution, and said bosses kill in like 3-4 hits, with very little if any sources of healing available.
It’s so fucking fun though. I played that very game that was vid-linked (Ys Origins). The boss in that first vid is just a small mini-boss. The main boss at the end of that dungeon was brutal.
Haven’t played/streamed it in a while… might need to do it up one of these days.
Changing gears, I played 10 mins of that Marlon Briggs game. All I can say is
I spent 20 dollars and I regret spending 5 of it.
Sleeping Dogs is just not the game for me.
I can say with certainty that I have nearly tripled my game library since the Steam Summer Sale and I’m gonna have that sale hangover where I wonder if I’m gonna play half the games that I bought.
Most of my money was spent on indies and or double-dipping on XBLA/PSN favorites (Double Dragon, Ducktales, Ikaruga, Pac-Man DX). Best acquisition by far was Electronic Super Joy, which I just snagged at random while trawling the cheap list. Like Meatboy, it has two things I personally consider essential for such platformers; near-instantaneous respawns, & a dope-ass soundtrack. Both work hand-in-hand to keep me playing despite the countless deaths.
Loved it so much I went and bought the sequel Groove City, which only has a 15%.75 cents discount. Could wait longer but IDGAF, dev deserves my money.

I submitted a report to support more than 24 hours ago.
How long are these people gonna take to reply?
People can still play online just with a different dedicated server now. Check the steam forums
My haul, either through me or giftins by friends:
Dead Space 1 & 2.
Just Cause 2.
Company of Heroes 2.
Battleblock Theater.
Castle Crashers.
Borderlands 2 GOTY and DLC.
Double Dragon Neon.
Nidhogg.
Goat Simulator.
YNAB.
Strike Vector.
Shadow Warrior.
Not bad, pretty content with what I got. Puts me at 224 Steam games.
I will never finish all of these…
