I don’t play anything that isn’t going to run just fine on my current AMD card. I could wait a few generations and get an upgrade dirt cheap and be no worse off.
My 5700 XT is perfectly fine too, but damn that raytracing looks so nice. If I run into a 3060ti or 3070 at msrp I will probably grab one. Then just sell the 5700 XT. Got the card back in May so I’ve gotten some good use out of it.
Welcome to the 3070 crew.
Having a little issue getting my old GPU out of the PCIE slot.
The latch is not budging.
Update: PCIE Problem solved.
Used this method from Redidit…
Had to push the gpu back into the slot then screw it down into the case then hit the lever.
It arrived! I’ve caught up to 2018 technology!
Gonna have to find a good home for my GTX 1060 6GB, great card for its time, was very happy with it.
This thing was stuuupid clean! Seller took really good care of it.
Fed the card an 8 hour DVDFab Enlarger AI project as a burn in test yesterday, fans were screaming all night, but temps peaked at 78° C, and the project completed without crashing, pretty sure at this point the used RTX 2070’s a healthy card, and a keeper.
Benchmarked it this morning, now this score is nowhere close to what meaty rigs like @Darksakul or @CDB2 can push, but I’m pretty sure I’ve future proofed my retro gaming PC + NEC 4:3 monitor setup.

Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China is free via their Ubisoft Connect (PC)…
The only Ass Creed game that I might pick up for my PC is Black Flag, naval combat is still amazing!!
They’re trying something but crippling your own software…eh!!
