On second thought, the only thing I don’t like is the inhibitor change. Sure only one Super Minion helps, but going for Orb Prime when you’re down an inhibitor is begging to get backdoored. Games are gonna come down to whoever gets an enemy inhibitor first.
I don’t think anyone is going to start OP to respawn inhibs. it’s more that the team that’s ahead needs to be more careful about delivering the orb because now there’s another consequence if you have the orb and have a catastrophic teamfight.
whereas before if you had the orb and traded four for three it just meant enemy team would get OP buff on two people (or take a risk waiting on respawns)
though a backdoor would be more difficult with travel mode going away and wards getting buffed. snot a completely insane idea.
^^^ Forgot about lack of travel mode. Good call.
That’s a pretty big win condition in most MOBAs You shouldn’t be able to let an inhib go down and then just recover from it easily. It should be a big liability.
travel mode and CXP sharing are what make this game stand out to me, so i’m not particularly optimistic about how the game will be without them. before it seemed like the developer stance was “game’s fine, l2p noobs” and now it seems more like they are conceding and making the game more in line with other MOBAs.
if the new teleport fails to impress i don’t see why i would keep playing paragon when i could just play smite on ps4 instead.
CXP sharing had to get removed, it’s just dumb to have 5 people killing one unit or player to get 5x the CXP. It feeds into the deathball meta and highly discourages pulling your own weight. You shouldn’t be rewarded an equal amount to the person who put in all the work while you just stood there. You don’t even need to assist them, just be in the vicinity!
Travel mode really only benefit ranged characters and groups. Forget escaping from 2 or more people even if you have an escape ability because all they have to do is cycle travel modes and keep you locked down for free. Then you have shit like Kallari where even though you have stealth and a jump, all they have to do it activate travel mode and you won’t be able to create distance because you have to trade speed for a shitty stealth that is countered by wards. Lol.
Anyway these changes seem to be pretty decent. I am not a fan of the passives being removed entirely. I appreciate the fact that they realised that most of their passive ideas were so shit that they just got rid of them and put them into other abilities, but I’m hoping we can get them back. I’d love to see passives that really add an extra layer of depth to the chatacter. Smite does this well.
New hero datamine:
Put together a new TwinBlast deck and awwwwwww man. So good and not even using all the CP.
I love the UI improvements - it actually feels like a game now.
Mine didn’t either. What’s you build looking like? Can’t wait to play this wknd, internet went out the day version 27 dropped so interested to see how characters play now.
Pertho14 on psn. Game feels pretty fun. No idea wtf is going on with the card system.
Gonna need to spend more time figuring out how that shit translates to in this game.
Managed to break even this weekend. Forgot there were tons of new players from PS+ coming in. One of the saltiest things in the game right now is a newbie grabbing your intended character during the draft and then absolutely doing horrible.
I need to add some wards into my builds - junglers in solo queue are getting a lot better. I used to be able to anticipate a gank a lot more reliably. Also gotta work a Blink Charm into builds of heroes w/o an escape.
My TwinBlast build:
https://agora.gg//DeckEditor;id=17374;slug=twinblast-custom-deck
It’s not full b/c that’s all I need lol. In game, I just have a bunch of different cards for late game giggles. Once I finish the first Flashfire Piston, put one Vicious Kinectic upgrade into Beserker Drive and just add the second Flashfire Piston, I’m a MONSTER. Once all three cards are finished, I’m not scared of anyone on map. Once I finish Brand of the Ironeater, things get ridiculous.
Like I said before, I need to throw some wards in there - especially for Khimaera. I don’t get harvest keys on anyone except junglers - slows my build down and Rangers need to come online asap.
Question though, is crit even still good for TwinBlast? If so, I’ll start speccing for it. Also working on builds for Iggy & Scorch, Khimaera, Grim and Greystone when he’s released.
One other random thing I noticed - that caster range buff for abilities is crazy. Gideon was hitting me w/ rocks from what seemed like a mile away.
That Greystone nigga looks raw af
I can’t believe there were folks complaining about him having two passives - especially the rez ultimate which has plenty of history going back to the Warcraft 3 mobas.
BTW, I’m updating the first post w/ player info - if you want to group up, make sure to post your PSN or Epic ID.
Go ahead & put me down for psn. ForeverKing901
Cant wait to use Turok & He-Man once I finish moving & unpacking.
My build used Crit & Atk Speed with a FlashFire Piston & I still melted people. Had his crit chance at 60% & it was pretty much guaranteed. Id say yes if you built speed with it.
Been messing w/ a Greystone build - dude is kinda ridiculous. The AOE skill is underrated. That extra bit of damage is incredible during 1v1s. You definitely wanna prioritize attack speed though, he hits pretty decent from the start.
Cool, I’ll give it a shot.
Put together what I think is a pretty crazy regen build for Greystone. Need to test it in PvP, hopefully I’ll get to play him.
Did a couple pvp matches w/ my regen Greystone build and completely wrecked folks. People are building him all wrong right now - stacking a ton of physical and energy res on him, when all you need for defense is Brand of the Iron Eater, Adamant Edge (slotted w/ health) and Font of Rapture. That combination gives you tons of health (on top of what Stoic gives) and allows lifesteal to overheal up to 10% of your max health. On top of that, w/ my current slotting Font of Rapture not only gives an overheal, but bumps my health regen up to 19 hp/sec.
I have seen a lot of people slotting him for crit since everyone (including myself) boosts his attack speed, but lately I’ve been a fan on consistent damage over lower damage w/ a change to do a hit or two of monster damage.
Went 19/3/10 in a game Greystone last night. This dude is not fair w/ the build I’m running. I feel like Greystone is right under TB and Ramapage in the OP standings, but people play him too stupid due to him having 2 lives to realize it. There’s people complaining that his ultimate is useless b/c a team can surround you and just kill you again. My reply - don’t put yourself in that situation, use it wisely.
Anyway, big patch coming next I believe - .29, should have tons of balance changes. I think the caster buffs are finally coming.

Been playing for a bit and didn’t even realize we had a srk thread.
I’m just happy I’m back to playing it this weekend. Have to see what they’ve done to Murdoc.

He’s still a beast. Not as OP as he was before since crit has been nerfed, but he’s still a big problem to deal w/ late game.
