is it hard to do? or you just not interested?
Could that be done with a wireless 360 controller?
I found one pic of the ps2 wireless logitech but its not very goodā¦

For a sixaxis hack, I like to use 26 gauge wire. 24 is a bit thick for the tiny points. And if you plan on wiring onto the tiny pins of the flexpad holder, solid 26 wire is your friend.
Can some one help me with the setup of thismadcatz microcon dual force 2controller to this mas stick that that has a bad chip.
Do I lay the wire across the gap that has non conductive material(after its scratched off) or do I find a hole or something ?
I was considering trying a solderless setup with a sony type a controller but the stick has thin stranded wire. Keep in mind that Ive never done any soldering before so any advice is welcomed.
Hi! Iām new around here and nice to meet everyone!
Iām using the PS2-PC converter JY-PSUAD1 for my PC.
Iāve tried hooking up my half-modded original PSX controller (SCPH-1080) PCB (connected to LS-32-01 and 1 OBSN30) to this converter to try out the PCB board. Only the d-pad is working. All the buttons are not working.
Anyone encountered the same issue as me or is the PCB board already damaged? Or is the JY-PSUAD1 has compatibility issues?
Thanks!
If I use a ps1 ds H series pcb will it work ok with a jlf stick? I ask because in the slagcoin guide it mention some complications with some sticks. I just want to run a wire from the ground to the ground and from the direction to the direction. Im trying to avoid complications that I cant deal with.
This is probably a crazy question.
Does HRAP3 has enough space to house a PS3, Xbox 360, Gamecube and PS2 PCB inside?
I may go to work and buy the controllers now if itās possible.
Okayā¦ so for a Sanwa Flashā¦ I wanna connect it to a Sixaxis controllerā¦
What would be the best sport for the 5V?
There isnāt one. The batteries on a sixaxis are much less, like 2.7v IIRC.
You could connect directly to the battery, but battery life would be crap, assuming the common line is the true battery ground. You could try to run the flash on that voltage. If it doesnāt work reliably, you may want to get a DC-DC converter to kick the voltage up to 5v.
Anyone?
oh yeah, plenty of room.
Still canāt get the thing to work.
I measured the voltage across all the buttons and they read 3.3V.
When depressed, they drop to 0. Is this normal?
Now I can only get the Select and Start buttons to work and not the others. No shorting of the terminals to ground is seen.
Any help will be appreciated!
You should be a lot more focused on posting up pics of the PCB and the wiring job, instead of the converter. It also would probably help for you to test the it on a playstation instead of just on the converter.
One way to eliminate the converter as the problem is to use another playstation controller that has not been hacked. Then you can map out what controller buttons relate to which buttons on the PC. With that map in hand you can verify that the buttons that are working are registering correctly. This is how I test on my PC.
Ok, thanks Toodles!
Iām unable to take any pictures as I have no camera in the houseā¦=P
Let me test it on my PS2 and see what Iāll get.
Sweet, Iām gonna go and buy all the pads tommorow.
can some one give me the pinout for the doa4 stick pcb
i just have the main board.
if not its cool iāll buy a multimeter and figure it out.
Some updates:
I tested it on my PS2 and it works great. Meaning, the soldering is ok.
Measured the voltage across all points and it reads 3.3V. It reads 2V across the only resistor on the PCB.
But when I plugged it into the adapter, the voltage across all directions and buttons read 5V. The voltage is about 3V across the resistor.
The difference in the voltage maybe is the problem why I canāt use it on my PC.
Are there any ways to solve this problem?
I like how youāve done everything except the things recommended you do.
