And anyway, it seems clear to me that this romhack’s not meant to be taken dead-serious as 3rd Strike HD Remix/Ultimate Match/Tougeki Edition/whatever. On a technical level, however, the romhack looks amazingly competent, in terms of how the new moves and crap are implemented. You see a lot of different character states in action in the videos (I haven’t tried it yet myself, I dunno if it’s even released yet), and nobody seems to be freezing the game or flying into space. I’m actually really impressed by how sound the structure of this hack seems to be, given the technical complexity of 3rd Strike (in terms of the number of possible character states relative to simpler games like KOF '98).
And really, if anybody wants to play it sometime, I’ll fuckin’ play it. Not like playing crazy Rainbow Edition 3rd Strike is going to throw off my nonexistent 3rd Strike game.

Submitted to have Sundays off at work… hope it happens. If so, I’m gonna stop stalling on setting up monthly tournaments at Dave’s Place (full service bar/restaurant at John Young/Silver Star). I brought it up before, and it’s still an action that’s gonna happen hopefully sooner than later. My poker playing has gotten me slightly falling on the SF wayside but I’m gonna recoup
