You know I’m just fucking with you, sir. In all seriousness, I just naturally give my buddies shit who are into geeky sci-fi type stuff. I’ve watched all of about 15-20 minutes of any Star Wars movie(s) in my life. Just not my bag. You’re into sci-fi, I’m into horror 
To each their own. Speaking of which, I’m trying to get my hands on a movie that’s shaking the horror world by its spine… called A Serbian Film (if anybody here has seen it or has a copy, hit me up with a PM!).
Any horror fans here? And I don’t mean Nightmare On Elm Street or Halloween “horror.” I mean horror that you might have to turn away from the screen type shit. If you’re curious, start off with the movie Martyrs. Next up on my Netflix horror queue: Inside.
i’m also a fan of horror(all kinds). I get squirmy during exploitation films a bit but am always looking for the next movie to actually scare me(hasn’t happened in YEARS).

I use stick only. Just takes time to adapt to stick. Ibuki’s bnb is character specific, actually. Any character with a dp can reversal the triple kick, so my bnb would be the sweep combos (lp, lp, sweep, or lp, mp, sweep) and neck breaker combo (c. lp, lp, neck breaker) for them.

I’m helping jesse here coordinate as well, worry not…he plans to have to host bi-monthly at the same venue. He just needs support from the rest of the community to see if people will show up.
So if you can’t make it to this one, hopefully there will be more.

Tony, The Expendables was fucking awesome. It could have done without Couture and I was kind of on the fence about Terry Crews but, he proves himself towards the end of the movie. The Arnold Schwarzenegger/Bruce Willis cameo was hilarious. Definitely worth watching if you are an over-the-top action movie buff.
It was ok. Story was meh, and they made fun of Jet Lee. The fighting and killing was cool though.
So one review says awesome and one says average — can’t wait to see it! Thanks for the review, gentlemen, I’m gonna see it this weekend Speaking of movie reviews, I went and saw the absolute fucking train wreck ‘Dinner For Schmucks’ yesterday. Holy fuck do I want my time and $ back. Avoid at all costs, unless you are a Steve Carell fan of the HIGHEST caliber. How it’s sitting at 56 on RottenTomatoes and at a 51 at Metacritic I will NEVER know. He may slowly be becoming the next Will Ferrell or Ben Stiller (in terms of oversaturation and role redundancy).

I’ve not been playing any type of fighting games, so I probably suck worse now then I did before. I can probably still beat Torrin though, lol. Just joking man. Anyone hosting? Is ranbats still going on? I havent been playing but I’m down to chill, drink a few beers, and get my ass kick in Street Fighter, or whatever it is being played. I’m going to try to still be apart of the community even if I’m not going to be active as much anymore.
Pez, I love horror movies. Have you seen High Tension? It’s more of a mind fuck type of horror, but it has a few bloody scenes. One of my favorite horror movies. I’m down to check any new ones that you guys mention. I’ll be looking out for that list Ian. Have anyone saw Salt? I was planning to either watch that or the Expendables this weekend. I’ve heard good things about Salt, so let me know.

What up, Irvyn? Glad you’re still around, dude Haven’t seen you on XBL in WEEKS. High Tension? Absolutely! I was a pretty big fan of the gore factor… best slit throat scene to date, IMO. And the intro scene with the dude getting a blowjob in the truck is very lol. I’m gonna wait for Ian’s list before I make any suggestions — but if you liked High Tension, check out Wolf Creek (2005). Extremely creepy movie with a brilliant psychopath (brilliantly portrayed, not particularly brilliant in the movie).
Also, Irvyn, I’m gonna hit you up as soon as I know anything about some more local rap battles. The next big thing is Grizzlemania 2, in Miami, Fri & Sat, Sept 3rd/4th.
