Who’s hosting what when where this week :]?
You know what’s odd? I’ve played a good amount of hours online since Super came out in April… and I’ve only encountered < 5 Sagat players total! God… that is a beautiful statistic… (close to 1,500 matches).

To be 100% honest, I’ve never played a single game of any variation of BB…

lol i never said i was goign to get you a job i said i’d pass it along to anyone that contacts me looking for engineers. I glanced at it briefly but tbh i forgot about it over the weekend. I get messages from various recruiting agencies every now and again, do i have your permission to pass it along to them? My company isn’t currently hiring so i can’t help you out in that regard. I was merely offering myself as another possible avenue for you to get offers not that i was 100% guaranteeing a job, i apologize if it came across differently.

You miss understand. I said did you look at my materials not if you passed it along to your buddies. You said you would look at them and give me an honest opinion on what you though. YOU said this. I’m currently updating my portfolio which is why I’m asking and would appreciate the info. Don’t make promises you can’t keep…or don’t want to keep if that’s the case. There are enough people in the industry who do this already. Any way back to FG talk. Sorry.
The main reason I haven’t touched BB is the same for Melty Blood, or Guilty Gear, or any other random fighting game… I just don’t want to invest the time in a game that’s not going to be played in a year. That’s why I tend to stick to mainstream games 
Sad but true. I will say this, though… I’m gonna be top tier in MK9

I’m 50/50 as of right now.
It’ll be “mainstream” regardless of how it plays because it has the Mortal Kombat name attached, and that will likely attract a fair amount of sales. Lots of people will flock to it who don’t know any better simply because of the nostalgia for spine-ripping. They won’t know or care how it plays on a more technical level.
But I get what you mean, anyway. It really does seem like this time they’re looking at making a more technical MK than one built solely around gimmicks (which has shot them in the foot over the past decade). I’m actually interested to play MK9 and see how it goes. It will probably be a mess, but hopefully it will be a reasonably balanced mess like MK2/UMK3.
Ian: That show is pretty awesome, actually. A little on the kiddy side (to be expected of a Nickelodeon show), but having seen the whole thing, I think it’s better at being a shonen series than, well, most Japanese shonen series. Less annoying protagonists, better fights, and on the whole a LOT less filler. The fight choreography is really good, too.
Also, to Ed and John: Do either of you guys play KOF on GGPO? KOF XIII is still a ways away from hitting over here, but I’d still like to play some '98 or 2k2 to develop some fundamentals and execution in the interim. Let me know if you’re interested. Same offer is extended to anybody else in here whose ears might perk up at the words “KOF”.

There will be at least one Jaguar at Hooters tomorrow and it won’t be in the parking lot.
I don’t play anything on GGPO, but I’m definitely up for some KOF action. I only ever played XI to a great extent, so I’ll have learn as I go with those other versions.
LMFAO I leave for a week and torrin comes out of retirement and thinks he’s god tier lol, 3s gets revived and the only 3s player quits, and rico is bitching people out over job portfolio’s… where’s the fucking games at O town!!! and where’s ,mogiwan blazblue is out and mog is the only one with a Japanese capable xbox too play it!! >_< where ya at moggi.
