no way p is better than k. k is vastly superior because of 4 letters. RAGE. rage allows for quick easy, alot of times scrubby damage in a hurry. and it garuntees 2 level 3s a character if youre decent with jd. p maybe will have 2 level 3’s the whole team.

P Cammy is hard to get in on. Good normals with parry is just stupid. P-Cammy is better than K-Cammy … but P-Cammy is easier to win with because its that good.
P-Kyo against K-Kyo is pretty even. P-Kyo is solid, K-Kyo is scary when he rushes you as he’s raged.
You get a lot more combo openings with P-Kyo than K-Kyo from my experience. You have to be brave (or crazy) like LTB or VDO and just throw out random parries for no reason other than off a hunch though.
P-groove probably does suck. Writing that statement in capital letters and swear words is just begging for people/japan fans to get upset at you though. Nice Canada imitation. 
Popoblo, I have noticed how much you like to mention other peoples names in your posts but I don’t know if anyone has even brought this to your attention. It gets annoying when I’m reading through the posts and you rarely ever have any self assurance to answer questions without referring a known player. Bas said this, kindebu said that… Stop being a dickrider fighter and answer what YOU think. I was quite surprised with what you said about P… It seems like the main reason you post top player names is so that people won’t try and prove you wrong. It’s actually pretty sad how you reacted to someone trying to prove you wrong… I was expecting another top player referral but no avail.
well, i was drunk when i made the P-groove comment (which is why i came off so belligerent), so i apologize, i need to stop posting when i’m hammered. but i still stand by my statement that it’s an inferior groove and cammy and kyo are better in K. IMO, cvs2 is all about big damage opportunities like level 3’s and CC’s. P-groove can capitalize off a parry into some combo, but the lack of plentiful level 3’s or CC’s really hurts it. if P-groove could red parry, had EX moves, and built a bar at a reasonably fast pace, i’d play it in a heart beat, but that’s not reality.
with that in mind, i say K-groove cammy and kyo are better because once they’re raged, they do 40% more damage plus have a level 3 at their disposal, which makes people turtle up and get thrown. 2 raged throws is solid damage. if they start hitting buttons, counter hit shorts or strongs into supers hurt like hell. and you’re getting 2 level 3’s per round, not 1 every 2 rounds.
gl0ry- i refer to top players because they have some kind of weight due to tournament victories. i already tried to post MY own opinions on eagle, but i got shot down by people who haven’t seen a proficient eagle. i could name drop combofiend at TX showdown, but you want me to avoid that=). and people on SRK eat up and x-copy any hot new japanese trick/gimmick/opinion, and you can’t contest that, so just by mentioning a japanese name, anybody’s statements are almost automatically correct.

My conclusion…P groove is to hard to use to be good enough to play on a compettitive level.

I think I’ll stick with C/K, thank you. I still play A for fun though. P-Cammy/Kyo are scary to fight. I’d rather fight K-Cammy/Kyo over P any day.

Actually a groove is by far the best groove in the game. Look at it… you can random activate without too much consequences. Random activate is pretty safe in general unless it’s A vs A because players can simply counter activate but then there are strategies to bait counter activates… Guard crush cc’s can lead to big damage against grooves that have no counter. Some characters have very reliable resets also, and some that can actually bait your counters. Alot of crazy shit and with A groove you also have rc’s at your disposal. Even if someone blocks you can try to throw them or bait their whiffs. Dirty tricks with random activate could include activate then rc a move to hit someones whiff:sad:.

And personally I do think that P-groove is at the bottom tier of grooves probably right above S.
Mostly for the reason that it takes tons of effort to play, plus alot more luck than I think is reasonable. It’s not that it’s bad like playing Dan or King, It’s still playable.
I don’t use a seriously only casual but I am not ignorant of the fact that it’s the best in the game
