These Q’s are slightly off topic but bear with me.
Do you still play morrigan in tourney?, and do you still find her effective.
I read your faq and its great, I use K-groove also with my secondary team. With that said…
2.I want to use Morrigan/Kyo/Geese, though I know in my mind morrigan is much more affective in N (RC command grab, you already know). If I were to convert My K team to N-groove would it bring down kyo and geese’s effectiveness (no that definetley not a word)seeing as K groove is more suitable for both kyo and geese?
3.I am replacing morrigan for rock as my battery, cause I get my ass served when I use rock for the most part, at least in K. Do you think morrigan would serve as better battery than rock?
Does morrigan do better against sagat than Rock?
Anyway without sounding like im D#%? riding, your input and or opinion would be much appreciated. :karate:
in N, morrigan is better off starting with meter, she fits better in the 2nd slot, kyo however is a great battery for n (super bnb = dizzy/GC/bait -> break stock -> close s.HK -> etc). his roll is slow like guile’s but doesnt go as far, try not to use it
i dunno about geese, he has run still so he’s still nasty… his roll is nice
There’s no such thing as a battery in K-Groove, and Morrigan’s worst match is Sagat. In N-Groove, putting Morrigan as a battery character is basically just throwing her away since she doesn’t fight well without meter. Stick with the K-Groove team you already have and just practice more.
besides rc command grab and a pretty damaging custom, what’s the big deal about a todo? i know he’s good but i never understood what the big deal was.
I’ll ask again since no one gave me an answer. who does everyone feel is ranked higher, c/a eagle or c kim? in my mind, c kim runs eagle but me and biggzy have been going back and forth about this for a minute now. any opinions?
k-lento is not too bad. he does get out turtled tho. his dash is too good to lose also. having 3 level 3’s in one round means more chances of landing low jump mp into super. try not to get cornered tho cuz its hell trying to escape without ACs,RCs and CCs.
YAMAZAKI is the best character nobody plays, todo is WAY too dependent upon getting your opponent within grabbing range. i know about his damaging custom, his 50/50 mixup after low jab of command grab or rh sweep, and other little things, but he’s a one trick pony IMO.
K-rolento is solid because JD gives him an option for AA that his standing mp won’t cover. low jump is huge, and having a bunch of supers to burn doesn’t hurt either considering rolento has 3 for different situations.
and comparing eagle to kim is comparing apples to oranges. their styles are too different to compare. but i obviously give the notch to eagle.
todo is far from a one trick pony. the guaranteed ways he has to set up his custom make him hella good. low jab into rc throw or low rh afterwards is pretty decent. and lots of people use yamazaki since hes so scrubby and easy to use. oh and eagle is only mid. ok bye
