When I first went to gatherings back when I signed up, the people there were cool and brought beer. Recently tried going to one and felt very awkward/uncomfortable due to the fact that it was held in front of a gaming store that was sticking out into the high traffic area of the mall that it was in. Didnāt help that the people playing were half my age, and looked like a bunch of smelly dorks. Safe to say I turned around with my friend and got the fuck out.
Also itās similar to how SRK is now a days from the short amount of time Iāve been on here. Pre SF4 was more rough and rugged. After that, things kind of smelled a little fishy and soft around the edges. Had to bite my tongue a few times over the recent years. But thereās still some decent content and some people that arenāt jacking off to MLP fighting game.
