I just wish the Wii U in Wii mode wouldn’t force stretch the VC games. Can’t even fix it manually on my tv. Mega Man 1-4, SMB 1 and 3 do it. But Castlevania Rebirth doesn’t.

Yo everyone, just a heads up … As a big Nintendo fan, I will be doing a special Bunkei’s Corner podcast tomorrow at 7:15 pm PT all dedicated to the Wii U. It’s completely on par…I don’t see anything that stands out like I did with the Batman one. Ubisoft though has seemed to care about this console since Day 1 though so I’m sure they were probably one of the first developers with kits for this system.
I want someone to put up an Xenoblade Chronicles comparison to see how it looks for Wii U…the Galaxy games would probably also be a pretty good test.
Just picked up the last issue of nintendo power tonight. Really sad buying it knowing it’s the last one. And FUCK YOU nintendo. Knowing they could have kept it going, etc etc. And yeah I know digital this, that, magazines don’t sell, etc etc. But hell if it wasn’t for nintendo power and the nintendo fun club letter before it where the hell would nintendo be now? A lot of people that still buy nintendo stuff grew up with this too. It’s more tradition than anything. Plus the posters/etc that would come with some issues let’s see you do that digitally and put a poster on your wall. Would even sometimes have pokemon promo cards, even cd’s sometimes and recently a Pokemon Black & White anime dvd with a music video. The poster is something you might expect too. It shows the cover of every single nintendo power issue ever. Looks really really nice.
Also right at the end of the issue is one final Nester comic.
Yeah, Nintendo seems to have a pretty good relationship with UbiSoft, so I am sure they were told about how to get the best out of the system and took it to heart with creating their ports and games. Other developers just went the normal route and got subpar graphics in their games.
The team marketing this system should be fired. I can’t believe they didn’t learn from its initial debut. Most casuals, which is their largest market, haven’t a clue what a WiiU is and I can’t really blame them.
Dark Souls II could work quite well on Wii U especially after witnessing the stuff Ubisoft did with ZombiU.
The PvP will be nuts for this game, actually EVERYTHING will be nuts for this game if new game plus had enemies change properties sequentially
Darksouls on WiiU would be great, it would also show Nintendo’s seriousness about pushing for mature oriented games. That is if people didn’t think Bayo or NG3:RE aren’t serious enough. Now that I think about it…Dark Souls 2 should be on WiiU, the games existence was only announced days ago.

Question: how does the Classic Controller Pro (is it Pro? U?) connect to the console? Is it wireless? Wired (USB, etc.)?

Real question though: how does it feel compared to the Classic Controller Plus? I rag on Nintendo… but I love that controller.

I’m not sure Specs, I don’t have a Wii-U, sorry. I personally do not like the Classic Controllers shoulder buttons so I hope the Pro’s are better. Frankly I love the 360 controller so I’m really happy to see the Pro looking a lot like it.
Cool. I’m gonna check Wal-Mart again tonight. My handle is actually my middle name, after my grandfather. It has been some character’s name in anime, though I don’t think there was a Lynn Kyle in Slayers iirc.
