No…Wii U games that are downloaded can not be stored onto SD cards. Wii Ware, Wii Saves, and pretty much stuff related to Wii can be however.
Mods can’t catch every Dick pic either lol…I booted up my Wii U one of these times and one of the random quotes that came up had a dick pic in it. It hasn’t come up again though. People are going to be moding this stuff as well so any picture like that probably won’t stay up for long because people are going to hit the ‘Report Violation’ button on it.
Work today has also reminded me to tell you guys to not forget that there are great Wii games that you may have possibly missed out on if you weren’t be into the system. A suggested list is there in the OP for you to use. This can be a good chance to catch up on Rhythm Heaven, Skyward Sword, Xenoblade, Last Story, Sonic Colors, DKCR, Muramasa, Punchout!, Super Mario Galaxy’s, Sin & Punishment 2, etc. if you either gave up your Wii early or otherwise.
I’d like to add Mad World to that list but I agree with all those games. Hell there are probably more that aren’t coming to my mind atm.
I saw some vids on youtube of people playing TTT2 online and it looks like it runs smooth. Obviously the play himself has to give his impressions on the lag he feels but the person claims it’s solid.

Until we get vids from more skilled players we won’t know for sure but my guess is Wii online has succeeded. Which is great since it opens a new venue for players to get into fighting games. Hopefully Nintendo gets a service similar to PSN where you can download full version retail games. It would be nice to see VF5FS get ported and I don’t that would be hard to port at all.
MadWorld is definitely on that list…The list in the OP also has Wii games from the original thread for other’s references.
I’m also going to get TTT2 probably for Christmas. And they already have that going on Sarangha. You can download NintendoLand, NSMBWU and TTT2 from the eshop.
Edit: also forgot to mention that the madcatz arcade stick is going to be powered off the Wiimote in similiar fashion that the TVC stick was for the Wii.
Well you know Reggie is not going to say something like at the moment the graphics look the same but when developers really learn how to utilize the system, you will see graphically enhanced games. That would just be more ammo against nintendo for people who don’t understand the development cycle for new systems.
It is going to take Nintendo or some other developers really putting out a high end graphic game that sells well before people will quit on about the graphics.
That’s really all I want from Nintendo’s online. I’m not expecting it to be as good as Live (nor do I want it to be if I have to pay for it), I just want it at the same level as PSN and I’ll be personally content.
You do realise what an asymmetric Naruto Game means right?
What I would be more interested in is assymetric Naruto game 2 using two game pads, just watching it will be amazing (TV either being auto+dramatic or controllable by spectators)
I’ve had a mostly good experience with the WiiU so far. What are these bad things you’re talking about? The only bad thing I’ve experienced is the Nintendo Land crash issue, which currently makes 5-player games impossible.
I hadn’t pre-ordered the Wii U. So, I went in to a local store to pick up the Street Fighter 25th Anniversary Collection for cheap. The clerk said, “Is there anything else I can help you with?” I replied, “Not unless you have a spare Wii U.” He said, “Why, do you want one?” That’s how I got my hands on one =)
ZombiU is fantastic. Sonic All-Stars Racing Transformed is great fun as well but there’s currently a bug in that none of the boost challenges in World Tour mode have checkpoints (making them not completable) However, if you fail three times in a row on easy difficulty, it’ll let you skip that event entirely.
The Wii U itself is a bit “meh.” The UI demands that you switch between looking at the TV and controller almost arbitrarily. It’s irritating. I also discovered that the single most lauded feature of the system, being able to switch the game to the controller and free up the TV, is not actually a feature of the console at all. It’s entirely game dependent and there’s no requirement that a game support it. Controller battery life is also pretty poor. I get about three hours out of it.
Wii mode is kinda lame, too. It doesn’t seem to offer any benefit over the Wii. There’s no upscaling or anything.
Still, ZombiU is pretty great. The controller is lighter than I expected and isn’t a hassle to hold. If you’re going to keep your old Wii hooked up, you don’t need to bother hooking up the sensor bar on the Wii U, either.
Yeah, ZombiU is so good. I can’t believe gamespot(?) gave it a 4.5/10. The whole idea of your char you’ve invested so much time into turning into a zombie if you die is intense. I creep around so slow like I’m really into it haha
