Hey everybody, I felt it was time we have our own thread, feel free to talk about games, strats, events, challenges, money matches, ANYTHING!
The main reason for this thread is to establish our own scene, which imo is much needed. Now GO is talking about tournaments and local Ranbats, so the scene is already taking its first steps.

Waldorf is technically still on the map, because of Jody and Wayne, two of the chillest cats I haven’t seen in the longest time.
I’d be interested in coming down for tournaments and RanBats despite the fact that Waldorf is easily over an hour trip from Baltimore.
Anything else besides sf4 you guys willing to throw down in?
yeah we play all types of shit…its mainly SF4 and MvC2 though.
Jody and wayne did put us on the map but they haven’t really been showin up lately…wayne still comes down randomly for a couple games but I haven’t seen jody in like a year.
Oh and spaceman, it doesn’t matter what day…whichever is best for them is fine.

How many of you players are down there? We have quite a few up here, so if there’s less down there, I suggest you guys come to Baltimore to play, despite the fact that we don’t have any arcades, lol. There’s always either UMBC or someone’s house.
Well we have a good amount of players, but a lot of them are newcomers tryin to make a name for themselves and learn.
We have an arcade where we usually play during the day and then most nights we go over one of our boys house and have a big session…there’s one in the works for this weekend.
Ah, I see. That’s what we used to do back when we had an arcade, lol. Now it’s just the huge session, or whoever feels like coming and playing comes and plays.
I personally think you guys should come up to Baltimore and play. We may have more experienced players here that could help teach you guys some stuff and help you all get better, so we all can get better together.

For sf4, I play every Wednesday of the week at our infamous UMBC gatherings, which I think you guys should try to come up for if you can. Besides that, I play over friends’ houses whenever possible, since I don’t have the game. :sad:
For Marvel, I usually play over my boy Eric’s (Button_masher) house. There aren’t that many Marvel players in Baltimore anymore, but top 3 in MD are easily me, Eric, and Christian (skisonic) respectively. We also have a couple other players that aren’t as good, but still session with us every now and then. Their names are Ryan (ironflip), Darryn (TripleAgent), his boy George, and Joe (who isn’t on SRK). We probably have more than that, but their skills are most likely not as proficient as ours.
My boy Eric from VA (Corrosive) is trying to learn Marvel, so I’m probably going to be teaching him.
Let me know if you guys want to come up to session with us whether it’s for sf4 and/or Marvel. 
And I don’t know if we’ll be able to make it down there for this weekend, but I’ll see what’s up with my boys. Thanks for the invitation.

Unfortunately, I won’t be able to make the major either. I wish I could, but I got a girlfriend who LOVES to plan things and spend time with me, so it’s kinda rough to even play games on a regular basis. xDD
The last tourney I was able to attend was SB3 in October… if that gives you an idea of how rough my gaming schedule is.

I’m attempting to be a Cammy player. I’m not horrible, but I’m def. not top tier lol. Thanks this is my first tourney that I’ll be competing in, so I’m hella nervous. Hopefully I’ll be able to do ok and not let deviljin regret his decision of choosing me as a partner haha. I’ve always been one of those girls who hangs with the guys and tries to hold my own against them so I’m really excited to be one of the only female Sf4 players around. soon enough I’ll be a force to be reckoned with!
