The Official Unpopular Food Opinions Thread

Marinara sauce isn’t tasty and isn’t very good as a dipping sauce. It’s unnecessary for mozzarella sticks of as well

I’ve been forced to more Indian restaurants than I could count and at each one I reluctantly ate something. All different dishes, in the hopes of finding something I agree with.

Never worked. It’s not just a US thing, either. I’ve also done this in Europe. The food alone keeps me from going to India.

Putting butter on your rice is the whitest thing since Vanilla Ice doing the charleston at a GOP convention during a snow storm.

So it doesn’t curry any favour with you?

Sporks are the product of the Devil.

I went to Church’s Chicken once, and they had spork’s. I was so amazed, I stole like 3 dozen of them. That was the highlight of my trip to Toronto, that weekend.

Stopped at a pho food truck in DC, first time I ever saw this fork/chopsticks hybrid thing:

Yo dog, we heard you like utensils.

that pho looks way too small.

I haven’t tried this “pho” before, but from the pictures and descriptions I have seen… Holy SHIT it looks disgusting.

I may have mentioned it b4 but cotton candy---- I’d rather not bother with this crap. The texture is annoying; it is like trying to eat an article of clothing.

Yeah, the portion that the food trucks give isn’t that large. I prefer having a nice-sized bowl, but for the sake of convenience the to-go size is not a bad deal.

Pho is nothing but beef, broth, and rice noodles with some veggies here and there. I do enjoy some of the more uncommon beef cut choices in mine tho, like tendon and tripe. :cow:

that picture doesn’t do it justice

like buster said, it’s pretty much just noodles, beef (or chicken but beef is best), some onion and green onion, broth, and spices. Then you add bean sprouts and herbs and jalepeno and sauces, and it’s fucking pure ecstasy.

You really need to try it ASAP, it’s probably one of the greatest foods of all time.

Pho is great, but it can create some of the most rancid farts known to man. But it’s nothing compared to the beef blunts (lemon grass and sporuts wrapped in beef strips).

Best farts come after you eat like a half dozen or more hard boiled eggs. GODLY farts.

I ate an extra large pho the other day, and was immediately hungry. Drove to Toronto, and had to buy some street meat to top up.

seriously @Million I demand you go to a pho place and try some pho. Report back ASAP.

Got pho in the makes atm. ox tails and beef shins/ feet parboiled cleaned and now simmering. Next ingredients will be added soon

I wanna make it sometime, but need so much kitchen stuff, let alone the ingredients and such.

Food coloring must be the best tasting ingredient around because every irrational part of my being knows Halloween Oreos taste better.

Finally a thread to come out of lurker status with.

Coca-Cola is assss. I genuinely do not understand how people can consume even one drop of that vile liquid, especially in the summer!

Also scallops. Admittedly the restaurant I had them in was low tier but man, they taste like phlegm to me.

Who the fuck puts ranch on their pizza? :wtf:

Pizza Hut is awesome. Sales indicate that it is well liked, but everyone claims it’s awful. It wrecks my insides but the taste and texture are so good,

We have great Greek pizza places around, but that’s practically a different kind of food.
