I’ve been forced to more Indian restaurants than I could count and at each one I reluctantly ate something. All different dishes, in the hopes of finding something I agree with.
Never worked. It’s not just a US thing, either. I’ve also done this in Europe. The food alone keeps me from going to India.
I went to Church’s Chicken once, and they had spork’s. I was so amazed, I stole like 3 dozen of them. That was the highlight of my trip to Toronto, that weekend.
I haven’t tried this “pho” before, but from the pictures and descriptions I have seen… Holy SHIT it looks disgusting.
I may have mentioned it b4 but cotton candy---- I’d rather not bother with this crap. The texture is annoying; it is like trying to eat an article of clothing.
Yeah, the portion that the food trucks give isn’t that large. I prefer having a nice-sized bowl, but for the sake of convenience the to-go size is not a bad deal.
Pho is nothing but beef, broth, and rice noodles with some veggies here and there. I do enjoy some of the more uncommon beef cut choices in mine tho, like tendon and tripe.
like buster said, it’s pretty much just noodles, beef (or chicken but beef is best), some onion and green onion, broth, and spices. Then you add bean sprouts and herbs and jalepeno and sauces, and it’s fucking pure ecstasy.
You really need to try it ASAP, it’s probably one of the greatest foods of all time.
Pho is great, but it can create some of the most rancid farts known to man. But it’s nothing compared to the beef blunts (lemon grass and sporuts wrapped in beef strips).
Pizza Hut is awesome. Sales indicate that it is well liked, but everyone claims it’s awful. It wrecks my insides but the taste and texture are so good,
We have great Greek pizza places around, but that’s practically a different kind of food.
