The Official Unpopular Food Opinions Thread

Salt and vinegar is almost always the best flavor of something when it’s available.

Mustard on french fries is delicious.

Filet Americain is delicious but only when spread on french baguettes.

Philly cheesesteak sandwiches are overrated. And I have had pat’s and geno’s

Sushi is the best Chinese food. :joker:

Food is poison

@Kromo @“Tekno Virus”

I could have told you that.
Call up any meat, dairy or produce farmer, they don’t check ANYTHING for lizard eggs. Which is how you end up with big hunks of cancer causing shell and sterility causing obedience rings in everything you eat.

Grind your own food, people.

Doritos bold bbq is the best flavour

how the fuck you gonna go wrong with the colour purple?

In US,the purple bag is Sweet Spicy Chili.

I didn’t know Canada had different bags.

Interesting–I’ve never seen a purple Doritos bag, actually… I only really pay attention to the plain ol’ red bag Doritos… I think that’s the normal “Nacho Cheese” ones.

*Someone at work mentioned the dreaded SOUSE just the other day…reminded me of this thread once again. Terrible, man…I’m not even sure I’d eat that if someone paid me to do it. The payment would have to be substantial… I’m talkin’ *at least *a few thousand dollars…maybe 5 or 6 grand, straight cash.

Premium frozen pizza mostly sucks. Anything that tries to compete with delivery fails and fails to fit into its niche as a stark alternative.

What do I mean?

Try this:
Monday: Eat Pizza Hut
Tuesday: Eat a Red Baron
Wednesday: Eat a pizza from the local Greek pizza place you like

You ate pizza three days in a row, but isn’t it almost like you ate 3 different kinds of food?

This would also work with a grilled burger, McDonalds, and say Applebee’s.

I don’t understand how that filth that is pizza in a box even exists. Like I can kinda understand getting it when they put it on sale for like 3 bucks, but for the most part, you can literally go to an actual pizzeria for the same price or cheaper, and they can’t afford to make your pizza look like shit.

I really wish packaging on foods was see through, so you couldn’t pull tricks like that. I bought some fucking 3 meat pasta that looked crazy good on the box. Cost like 10 bucks, and looks like it has big slices of sausage, meatballs, and pepperoni. I open the box, and it’s slightly larger Michelina’s. Just a handful of noodles, and a sprinkling of tiny chunks of almost meat.

I wonder how most people that hate frozen store-bought pizzas are preparing them though… hopefully not the microwave. I just know that when DiGiorno’s is on sale…yeahhhhh I’m usually putting that in the basket with my other usual groceries. Pop that sumbitch in the oven…then I toast the bottom a bit, (since an untoasted crust is unacceptable) and just like that I have something that’s quite nice, imo…especially for the price. Price-wise, Little Caesar’s is really the only major pizza spot that can compete with store-bought stuff. A DiGiorno’s or Freschetta is usually about 5.87 or so here.

-Honey—for some strange reason, most people I’ve known in life from childhood on up to now…they don’t like honey?! This is the most bizarre thing to me… honey is absolutely, undoubtedly THE SHIT™. Maybe they grew up using syrup for breakfast instead? It’s surreal to me because I always assumed everyone likes honey. Same deal with peanut butter…for some reason, most people I know cannot stand it…? That’s like a Twilight Zone moment there for me. How can these people NOT like PB and/or honey? Craziness, man…

As someone who works in one of the best pizza places in NY, I’m pretty spoiled on Pizza and have no desire to eat it outside of the restaurant, although when I go visit my friend in Chicago I’m definitely hoping the deep dish they got there lives up to the hype, pizza is something I still love though don’t get tired of it because I limit myself to eating it twice a week and not that much either.

Anyways unpopular pizza opinion: jalepenos is the best topping…which my place doesn’t have =/

Mangoes taste like sweat smells.

Pretty sure you ate a papaya and not a mango.

Not gonna lie, those 1 dollar Totinos’ pizzas that they have at Wal-Mart are pretty clutch. They’re good in a poverty sort of way; definitely got me through college lol.

I was eating Jeno’s when I posted that lol. They are very, very similar.

Indian food should be banned in the U.S. None of it tastes good.

Yep. The first impression I got when I was at an Indian restaurant— it was definitely NOT a good situation…maybe that particular place just sucks but it was .horrible.
