I think they should also show a mech anime, maybe Gundam 00? Just not Gundam Seed, I heard that had terrible ratings when they showed it on Toonami (not sure why…)

these are *really *good ratings, if you consider the fact that Saturday nights bring in terrible ratings and the fact that anime is a niche interest which pulls in less than one mil.
Bleach was the first anime in AS history to hit over one million views in premiers. DBZ was just 1000 shy away from 1 mil. Everything else did exceptionally good.
I think the -200k drop off around Blue Sub was due to the fact that it was nearing into the morning, and most people went to sleep. I thought it was a shame that they pushed Trigun to the back of the block.
All in all, a very good night, even if they aired random episodes. Hopefully, this will warrant a resurrection.
They need to show Fist of the Motherfucking North Star, the uncut version.

No it cause it sucked and everyone told other people who havent seen it…that it sucked. one guy said the dub actually made more sense than the japanese version…let that sit for a min. we all knew it was gonna drop off at that exact point. like 5 of us called that shit.
i dont think the new generation of anime fans could truly appreciate that anime. maybe a hajime no ippo or sumtin…maybe the new ova series. but i have a feeling the og series wouldnt do well outside of our generation and before us.
