I still wish we got Black Lagoon. Robertaâs trail still hasnât been dubbed yet (I heard it was planned to be released this year but Iâve honestly seen nothing that could prove that), but if they are dubbing it (and they better), Iâd love to see it debut on Toonami if they aired the first two seasons of black lagoon.
A show with a bunch of cursing doesnât need to be on Toonami, it needs to be on adult swim.

Seriously, Deadman Wonderland was a terrible choice for Toonami. Not that it is a bad show. I see them only showing it because of the cursing and violence to garner some kind of interest in their shit station since most people havenât bothered with CN ever since it became the random cheap live action comedy channel.
Really would have preferred you guys to actually see a show with an ending and some really cool shit that isnât censored to hell. Instead you get a show that in all likelihood will NEVER have an actual end to it given Japanâs track record with these kind of shows. Maybe they will pick up Tiger and Bunny after it gets dubbed.

DW was chosen for one reason, to bring viewers, going by the tried and true pattern of appeasing to the lowest common denominator that loves blood, swearing, and tits. I guess they are saying they no longer need to put shows like this on at night. But whatever, it doesnât really affect me since I saw the show last year anyways.

Is this supposed to be like the old midnight run? If thatâs the case then I take back about what I said about having shows with more violence since that was the purpose of the midnight run iirc.
