Oh god I can deal with Bleach filler episodes within a Bleach filler arc where the main character cameos and does nothing useful (This week was Bleach filler inception) , but the moment Toonami airs family-friendly live-action sit-coms I’ll drop the whole block. Thats how BAD it would be. UK Toonami fate made ToM 4 look like paradise.
Feeling bad? Here the 1080p version of the To Hell With Fear AMV on Toonami to cancel out that rubbish.
I missed out on deadman wonderland this past night…and by the sounds of it I’m fucking regretting it. Did get to catch Casshern which was good stuff…but I"m realllly regretting missing deadman :(.
Squidbilies and aqua teen need to go, same with robot chicken. I mean seriously do people really keep up with those garbage shows? I feel like I’m losing brain cells just watching them.
^What he said. Still, if they yanked robot chicken, I probably wouldn’t cry. Aqua teen is getting a facelift, so I will hold judgement on that. PLEASE make me laugh again, aqua teens!! I beg this of you!!!
Week 3 ratings arrived…yeah the Toonami block airing with the Pacquiao fight was also going on that night… (WHich was a big tweeting event the whole block where only 1 toonami show trended briefly the whole block) as well as NBA Heat vs Celtic Game 7. No need to Panic yet I see a BIG spike up for week 4.
I think these were slightly worse then week 1, not sure too lazy to find out. However, I also think week 4 ratings will be better then how week 2 was since no major events were going on and the whole block including Toonami trended numerous times. Kind of was expecting this to happen for week 3, but yeesh
6 nights a week for all of the other shit on adult swim. We already have one night of action, doesn’t really matter what else is on there. I’d imagine that the higher ups (or just lazzo{heh camp lazlo}) are liking the ratings, so expect positive changes if it keeps up. I predict 2 shows on there by next spring, Hunter X Hunter 2011 and Gundam AGE/TurnA/Unicorn. (a Gundam basically) If they eventually DO get a new time slot, then expect a 3rd, possibly a fourth new show on there by spring.
EDIT: Why does all of the good shit that millions watch just happen to happen on saturday night? Its like god himself says “no toonami for you.”
heh, like a major network will air anything subbed.
the only channel that successfully aired subbed anime was the International Channel. but the height of their success ended around 2004 (because you signed up here).
