Not a bad show, but its funny as hell to point this out in a room full of guests. If they show hero tale i am gonna have a fucking field day with that. literally 20 cliches in the first 5 mins
Finally, a bot on this show that’s not a dumbass. The big guy knew than to fuck with Casshern.
The show inverts this cliche though. He knows who he is, he knows he’s responsible for the world going to shit and even how he did it. The mystery here is how he forgot and why he is unaffected by the ruin. It’s not bad all things considered.

Deadman was in M. Bison voice DELICIOUS!!! Clearly that Shiro’s berserk button is when anyone tries to hurt Ganta. Dude was SO LUCKY he got boobs to the face! I mean that in that lucky dog sense and the sense that she didn’t kick his head clean off his shoulders.
Another nice ep of Cashern. “I love you so I must ruin you.” Say WHAT?! Dang, even as robots women are frickin’ crazy! I thought it was funny how Cashern was all like “Meh” to nearly everything she said. I guess Friender was pissing on rocks or something. Shrug
So no speech as was speculated, but a music video promo about “fear” was a nice Toonami touch. Glad they try to add new stuff every week to the block in various ways.
demand for the Slayers on Toonami is relatively high. who knows, maybe we gonna see it on there, mayb not? i predict that it will come on the block once we get a two hour timeslot on Mon-Fri
Heh. I think it will make the block once it has been established that it isn’t a passing fad and that fans (And therefore, money) can be had by giving the people what they want on Toonami. Slayers? I’d welcome it. I never actually watched it when it was out, so a second chance would be great.

Judging by the constant trending it had last night, I think it can be safe to say that this is not a fad. I never really stopped watching anime, I just got it elsewhere. Now I can watch it on TV again, and I’ve got no real complaints with the current lineup. Sure, it’s mostly recycled [AS] stuff, but who cares? It works, and I always felt Bebop belonged on Toonami anyway.

I wonder though, about the shows that run from 9-12, how successful are they? Are they worth keeping in the timeslot due to them being relativley popular shows that pull in ratings? I can’t find ratings for them so I wouldn’t know, and i’d imagine changing a timeslot is complecated and that probably all of the companies that put their cash into those shows would be against it. Deadman has like 8 episodes left to air correct? What happens then?

Family Guy and the Boondocks are the only successful shows on the 9-12 slot. Toonami’s 12-3AM slot is on par w/ FG and BD, the other shows (KotH) get subpar ratings compared to the former. However, the ratings that matter the most to AS are the 18-34 year male audience, that makes up the biggest portion of their paychecks.
Toonami was Trending alot since no big events this time (not counting fathers day but hell watch this with your dad). I noticed more Toonami ads during the regular adult swim weekday lineup as well. Yeah i doubt this is just a passing fad, as long as they keep trying to add some form of new content each week (not just talking about new episodes) They are gonna stay solid. Dam the “To Hell With Fear” music video was nostalgic on how Toonami used to roll. Hope more things to come
