Truth be told it was holiday weekend and alot of sporting events and other factors happened. Lets see how this week turns out.
Seriously, with all of the bitching being done, I think only 1 million views is not enough to make turner change their minds. If they at least advertise it during the week it would be better. Do you know how many people i know that say they would like toonami back, don’t know it returned? If they get just a couple of commercials to play during family guy during the week, it would see much more success. But fuck that, loiter squad is obviously more important.

In 2002, a cable television premier that garnered 1million+ viewers on a Saturday night would’ve been a dream. The old Adult Swim Action block was in the top 5 of cable television premiers on Saturday nights, and had to compete toe-to-toe with non-cable stations like Fox or NBC. And back then, the highest they ever gotten was 600,000+ viewers for Hakusho and Bebop.
Fast forward to 2012, Turner fat-cats think 1,000,000 viewers is bad for a Saturday night? What the fucK?!?! Is Turner a semitic surname? Because Ted and the rest of his corporatist asshole buddies are fucking looney.
hopefully they aren’t comparing it to reality shows, cuz Toonami would never win in a million years.

Turner’s ceos shifted their business logic to a greedier one. Basically, bigger ratings=bigger money for OUR pockets, and not the employees.
Toonami is screwed. If one million views is “OKAY” for 12AM anime then I don’t want to know what qualifies as good. 
Yeah the neck brace continuously adds a type of poison that will kill you in 72 hours unless you eat the “candy” to reset the countdown. Thats a fk up way to get some community service done lol

Watching that show is a bit like reading a horrible stories thread on this board.
The ratings are bad before 5:00PM. There’s no consistent number, but the viewership is below 350,000 during the day time.
Think about the number of mindless gerbils living in america. Then give them a show that caters to their desires…that being, to see someone else’s trainwreck of a life. I would be surprised at less than 2.5 mil viewers per show. If you want fun, think about making them watch something like GITS, laughing man saga. I think the number of braincells that would burn away in their collective would rival the total number of clouds in the noon sky on a rainy day.
