Can you reseat the connection and verify that there are no bridged solder joints on the EZ MOD Board? I actually had the same issue in my TE2 (XBOX ONE) and I ended up having to replace the JLF because it was faulty! This of course was after I spent hours troubleshooting.
Finally installed the Brook UFB with EZ Mod on my TE2+ FightStick.
Unluckily, for some reason the Arcade Stick is not working tough: even if leds on both of the EZ Mod and UFB are blinking, I cannot play on any of the systems I tried to connect my TE2+ to (PS4, PC and Nintendo Switch).
When plugged into a USB port, the LED for LS/DP/RS is on, the LEDS showing the number of player shortly blinks but turns off soon.
Iāve connected and disconnected the device several time, but it has been recognized on my PS4 only once: furthermore, after a very few minutes of playing, Iāve been disconnected and havenāt be able to have the TE2+ recognized from the console anymore.
I thought it could be caused by a old firmware version on the UFB, but when trying to update via PC I always receive the error āChecksum failedā.
Ideas about what is causing the problem and how to fix it?

i tested everything, the problem are not from cable (i tested all) so is not the cable JLF & JLF PCB
the problem is left & right are connected together , i tested this 2 point (red arrow) with multimeter , if i connect the point below , the one above work (inverse too) why?

The SOCD cleaner is cancelling them out. If you look above and to the right there are 8 VIAs in a two columns. You will see there that it looks that during wave soldering the two in the upper right of the 8 were bridged out. If you touch one with a soldering iron it should unbridge them and fix the issue.

Thatās a UFB issue for sure, HEX CHECK SUM ERRORS are usually software / communication errors with the processor or a bad software download on the PC. What happens if you disconnect it from the EZ MOD and use a direct USB connection to the board/PC? Does it show up in JOY.CPL?
@āJasen Hicksā thank u so much for ur help! im glad now everything works
@āJasen Hicksā So the EZ Mod wont work without the Brooks UFB as a PCB replacement?
Hey guys i just replaced the ball top on my stick to a bat top and noticed after i put it back together there was something inside loseā¦ Any idea where this would go ? https://ibb.co/cTv9DG
pwnt by text. Didnāt read the quoted post fully.
Just think of the brook ufb as the brains. The ezmod are the arms and legs. So yes either the Universal Fighting Board or PS4 + Audio are required.
I have the EZ mod for razer panthera, does the Lock switch not lock out share and option button? It only locks the home button.
It only handles the aux board home button. The Start/Share are common ground with the rest.
Thank you for the response, Iām going to look at it and see if i am able to rewire those two.
any help will be appreciated trying to get this done for a friend for Christmas
i purchased a ez mod for the te 2 with a brook ufb I have e everything connected right any Iām not getting any power when I plug it in.
Iāve triple checked every connection and still nothing I canāt seem to get it to turn on. tried everything not sure whatās going on . old pcb worked great the whole arcade stick is in new condition now I canāt get it to work
Sounds like the usb connection is t made up to the terminals properly.
i donāt understand how there in there fine
is supposed to go under on top in the terminal ?
thanks for the help by the way anything is appreciated
The terminals get unscrewed to the top, then the stripped wire gets put in, and tightened down. All of them get done this way. Iām willing to bet a sandwich this is where the problem is as I too have had this happen; thought it was in and turns out it wasnāt.
