Played the Vesperia demo, it seems pretty cool. Although in the demo you can’t instruct your fucking people not to waste so much tp, from what I can tell, unless you go into and turn off all their hog arts. Hopefully the full version will let you give strategy to the AI.

Okay. So I KNOW there’s a Vesperia special edition. Where the hell is it to buy?
I tried an EB and a GameSpot in Edmonton and neither has it in their records (or the limited edition Too Human for that matter)…

Kinda funny, the first Tales game I actually sat down and completed was Legendia. I’ve been hearing about the Tales games for so many years when I saw Legendia coming out… figured I’d give it a try. Since I had no experience with any of the others I just assumed the simple / repetitive battle system was normal. Maybe I’ll check out the Vesperia demo and see if I’d care to play through it.

The NON-Limited Edition features that Guy-lookin’ dude quite prominently (even more so than Yuri). I wonder if they have a similar relationship, and if Namco finally decided to do a game about two dudes’ friendship. No homo.
I think it’s slated for release on the 26th in NA. I’m not sure how you guys are getting special editions already.
I have 8 days to finish Enchanted Arms and Lost Odyssey, I’m guessing Enchanted Arms will be done but Lost Odyssey probably won’t be. When I get Vesperia, it’ll be my focus.
Infinite Undiscovery is slated soon after, but chances are Vesperia will take up at least 2 weeks or so for me, so that will get delayed as well.
^ I should have said that the Gamestops now see the limited edition and that I was able to preorder it, not that I have it.

Apparently, Vesperia is driving Xbox 360 sales in Japan, which hasn’t been doing so well up until now.
Yeah, the XB360 isn’t made by a Japanese company, and has too many of those “evil FPS” titles. As if somehow JRPGs aren’t even more stale. But yeah, it’s not too surprising that a Tales game is driving people to buy.
I hope the problems with the demo (crappy music, the weird walk/run thing with the stick) aren’t so pronounced in the retail release. I like the gameplay and the dub so far. Plus I’ll be playing it coop with two others the whole way through. it should be fun.
Well, will have to get this game first thing tomorrow. I will enjoy it. Tales forever. :tup:
