so how does it actually work out, i donāt know what eternal support does cause i never got it, itās just if you spam it out alot it stays permanent? or do u need a fixed amount of usages for it to get to that level?
Eternal Support randomly makes a buff permanent. So the trick is to go into OL1, spam Force Field and when they canāt hit you even after it would normally have worn off, you know it stuck.
I pointed that out to someone on GameFAQs and now everyoneās doing it.

I learned how to do mystic artes last night and completed secret mission 23 which got me the last fencer. Currently learning glory from it and combo plus 3 from the garm fang (which extends my basic combo to 9 hits) :woot:

Still stuck on the last boss of the first game. Iām underleveled but trying to make up for it with the Fighterās semi-easy infinite.
10 hits, if you hold the LT and do a Free Run attack after your 9th. Free Run attacks also cancel into Artes, so youāre good there.

Bumping to post this trailer of the Wii Tales game. The new hero does a nice line in kung-fu this time, including what looks to be a hadoken and a little shoryuken lol.
Main character looks badass. Iai-style swordfighting and martial arts, like they put Luke and Guy together?

So Iāve been playing ToH and itās pretty good so far. A lot of voice acting for a DS game, and it doesnāt sound too badly compressed. Battles are pretty fun, esp since you donāt have to worry about TP. Enemies are pretty agressive, and I tend to get pinned down often. Also of note is that you donāt learn moves just by levelling up and move useage, you also have to āteachā your weapon new moves via upgrading your weapon.
Well I finished vesperia a little while ago, got briefly excited at the idea of a newgame+ then deeply annoyed at the fact I spent most of my grade on tokens because I didnāt know it had any other useā¦made worse by the fact its really easy to get tokens in poker and before I even beat the game I had so many I made the last fencer by pumping coins into the capsule machines.
So now Iām trying to build up the endurance to continue to Grade farm with Rita (TIDAL WAVE! BLAH BLAH BLAH) but I usually get bored/annoyed pretty quickly and donāt get that many grade points. I also never got the upgrades for the ring/fell weapons because I stopped caring. It just all seems like so much work just so I can have an easy time playing through again, jeez, fell weapons donāt even transfer over āproperlyā.
That being said it was my first tales game since phantasia which I first played on an emulator and loved. It was nostalgic so I enjoyed itā¦Itās been so long since playing a ālong gameā (in this era of 5-10 hour games) it was kinda refreshing in a very repetitive way.
Iām wondering which of the other games are worth playing? I have a ps2 and a wii for ps1 or gc games. Iām kind interested in abyss because of the anime that came out (but I havenāt watched for fear of spoiling the game if I ever get it). Is hearts a total dungeon crawler?

Abyss and Symphonia are worth playing through at least. Legendia is ok if you liked the old school 2d plane battles. Abyss and Symphonia are by the same team that did Vesperia, so it might be interesting to see where Vesperiaās mechanics began. ToH also had Team Symphonia people working on it.
On the subject of ToH, people have found some neat stuff in the ROM. Shing may have a hidden Mystic Arte, which may just be redundant data. Crazy Comet from ToD2 returns, complete with extensions, and people found a list of all the cameo assists, and they areā¦
