You’re in Heracles? Nope, you’re all good. Clear that area, then as soon as you get control of Ba’ul again, take off to Dahngrest. If it doesn’t happen then you might have to clear the next major area (Zaphias) before it’ll trigger.
Quick question, I just learned about overlimit in the game, and I’m wondering how to do Hi-Ougi’s… Are they the same way as in Abyss?
Yeah, Mystic Artes (Hi-Ougis) are performed like the first Mystics in Abyss. Do an Arcane Arte or Burst Arte then hold the attack button. Do keep in mind the Arcane or Burst has to connect. In the case of Estellise and Rita, use an Intermediate spell then hold the attack button.
I’m stuck in the second visit to that big castle, with the doors and the wings clues. What the fuck am I supposed to do?
Still not a single costume.
Well, in my earlier post it tells you how to get at least one outfit, so that’s better than none. As for the door puzzle…

Use the Sorceror’s Ring on the four statues with the moon above them. This is the order:
- Right of the audience chamber
- Southwest corner of the castle
- Left of the audience chamber
- Southeast corner of the castle (near the prison entrance)
I hated this effing puzzle, so I kept in mind where online to find a solution in case anyone else got stuck.
To stray from the Vesperia discussion for a minute, anyone keeping up with Tales of Hearts? It recently had two more characters revealed for it, and there’s a CM now. For those who don’t know wtf ToH is the 3rd DS Tales game, developed by a mix of Team Symphonia (The Vesperia guys) and Team Destiny, and it seems a lot like Destiny PS2, with a similar battle system, upgradable weapons that you may not be able to unequip (Called Soma ingame), use of 2D and 3D, and a Deen theme song. It will also have multiplayer iirc.
Now I’m stuck after Zaphias. I’m on those “Talk to everyone in your party!” parts, and I cannot find Rita (or Estelle if she counts) in Zaphias. Is it some random NPC I need to chat with to activate her appearing, or…?
Hey guys, I have a quick question; I’m at the part right after part Nor Harbor (first time), and I’m at the other port. I found the ruins of the city where you meet Nan and that guild. I figured out the password for the downstairs, but I have a question.
It’s kind of n00bish but I’m still kinda confused on the “finishing blow”. Does it only work for swordsmen? So if I play with the dog, does it work? Also, exactly how do you get the the circle to show up?

Rita and Estelle (yeah, of course they’re together :rolleyes:) are in the room where the last statue was, near the prison.
Fatal Strikes (which work with all characters) are activated by hitting an enemy with specific attacks in a certain “direction”. The arrows indicate what type of Fatal Strike will occur (Green is standard, Blue is aerial and Red is grounded opponent). To get the circle to trigger, use Artes that damage one of these colors repeatedly (you can check which type the Arte will affect in the Artes menu) then when the arrow appears, press RT. Different monsters are affected by different types more easily, for example aerial enemies get Red Fatal Strikes more easily than the other two.
The arrows appear when their bar runs out, and normal attacks can damage those bars-- but even if they have no bar, the FS input can only be triggered from an arte.

How do you beat the 80 and I guess 100 man melees? I do fine until I get to the druids around 74 or so, and then they just bounce me around with magic until I die or time runs out. For some reason they can aim it so that it always hits me when I’m running, and then it OTGs me, even though when I try spells enemies frequently run right away from them, and when I knock an enemy down pretty much nothing will hit it.
I’m at level 50 now btw. Is it even worth beating the melees? They take awhile and are boring. I think this is the shittiest coliseum ever. Unless a team battle or boss type battle unlocks, this is just pretty gay.

Getting to the end of the colleseum fights will probably result in you facing a cameo boss and getting something cool if you beat them. I think, anyway

I’ve beat the 80-man brawl but I’m waiting on the 100 man brawl to open up. Is there a team based mode this time? They said it got cancelled and they were working on something new…
…No. There’s only the 100-Man Melee, no single or team battles…which fucking blows. After you beat the game (and the secret dungeon), you can do…

I just saw the scene where Yuri tells post-promotion Flynn that Yuri will do things his own way. Then goes to kill Ragou. I love Yuri. Still can’t play as him worth dick though. When do you get the “cancel into Free Run” skill?

Yuri doesn’t get that ability, Repede does. I think Yuri gets something that lets him cancel into guard, but I don’t remember for sure.
There’s probably a title, maybe a costume, so eventually I’ll have to beat it. Seems like you just power through it though. If I get annoyed enough, I’ll just use Rita and kill everything.
hmm… if hearts comes out here in december… then maybe i will give it a try. i tried the last one on Ds and there was way too much kanji, but now that im actually studyin in japan mabe my kanji comprehension will be better
