How are you guys editing these with your own artwork? I downloaded the create your own SE template file from the OP, but I have no idea what to do now. Sorry for being a straight up noob here.
I’m trying to see how I can work this out for the SE
It’s pretty huge sadly, and the only editing tools I have is in MS Paint :[

for real talk all i had was paint to haha. just download the trial version of PS and do your template in less than 30 days. it’s not hard to learn and it’ll be exactly what you want cause you’ll do it yourself

Programs for editing
To make these templates, most people are using Adobe Photoshop. Any recent version will do.
If you can’t afford it, it is expensive, there are ways to get it for free, but I’ll leave you to figure that out yourself. Here’s a clue, www.utorrent.com
Aaaannnnyway, Google the term: Online picture editing, or online photshop, and you’ll come across lots of programs that work through your browser online and you can use these to make a custom template.
Photoshop is the most full featured, but if you simply want to put an image on the template, most of the online ones will work.

Here’s one. Simple. Just the Shadaloo logo. Props to Triumvir for the logo and cue16 for vectorizing it.

Is there any threads anywhere on SRK to help with using Photoshop and/or Illustrator, because i’ve seen some great images that are to small to make templates with and i’d like to do them myself. My TE is still all plain and default looking.
well seeing that the template is about the size of a sheet of paper, unless the image is close to that size I wqouldnt use it, it may get blurry if you enlarge it too much.
Has anyone cut theirs in shop?
I’m thinking about just taking an exacto knife, cardboard, and the metal plate from my stick in and taking out 5 minutes to cut it after printing so I won’t need to go back just to laminate it.
why not laminate it first? I already lamininated mine using lamilabel which also adds a sticky back to the image which will make applying it much easier (hopefully)
I am not going to cut any holes until I put it on the stick because the holes in the template could be bigger/smaller depending on how accurate you print it out.
