Thanx man u too. Ive been practicin Ken FAITHFULLY, hes’ been my main since 1992 before all these combos were incorporated, I still need to learn a lot. Your Sagat is nice. Im liking Akuma a lot now as well. But I really want that "Ken flow chart on my TE, lol
hey everyone i just wanted to know if i can get my hands on other faceplates for the TE version other than SF4 types please if anyone can help…thanks…oh by the way i would really like a Kratos one from God Of War…someone please help me
Thanks man. I started using Sagat as my main in HDR as I didn’t play much ST back in the day. I think I was a Shoto-scrub back in those days, but who wasn’t, lol?
They don’t make faceplates for the TE stick (although, that would be a pretty badass idea if they actually did). All the stuff you see here needs to be printed on paper, cut, and laminated. The stock artwork is an acrylic sheet with the art fused into it. Underneath is a metal plate where the buttons and joystick are mounted.
I was inspired by CrimsonAsh’s creation; the Reiq art is beautiful so I had to make my own version with exactly what I wanted. The “IV” and “C.Viper” were both hand done as vectors by myself. I really liked the look of the TE background, and I love the typeface used in-game, so I thought what’s better than to bring them both together. It’s been a long time since I’ve done anything with graphics, as I’m mainly working with code nowadays, but I had a lot of fun putting this together.
It’s going to be set up with Black/Dark Hai buttons. I do have a Dark Hai ball top, but I’m going to order a Red ball top later as soon as the suppliers start taking orders again.
I finally finished my art mod, and I added a new Sanwa stick/ball top and red OBSF 30mm buttons. There are a few minor imperfections (like the little air bubble around the upper right button, which I plan on fixing) but other than that I’m happy with it for a first time mod. http://img25.imageshack.us/img25/8489/mycustomstick.jpg
Did you put anything under the art to sturdy up the openings, or is the artwork strong enough where it isn’t a problem? Just curious in case I ever want to get rid of a couple buttons on mine without making a trip to a metal fab shop.
I didn’t put anything under the empty button holes, and so far the laminated artwork seems sturdy enough that it hasn’t posed a problem. I think I’ll be fine so long as I don’t forcefully punch through the art, for whatever reason.
