Got bored so I decided to work on the art for my custom stick (using template for SE). Just looking for some feedback/suggestions for it. :bgrin:
That nimbus effect is great looking but the blurred look of Cammy detracts from it I think.
Anyone have a picture of the japanese one? I’ve seen a few other Capcom cabinets online; I’m going to try and make them as well.
I’ll take suggestions…'course I can’t promise I’ll get to every one of 'em.

For people who keep asking for one picture templates or are interested in making their own templates but don?t know how…
The first thing you?re going to need is an image editing program. You?re probably like me and don?t have Photoshop,
so head to this website to get the poor man?s version:

You?ll also need a plug-in so that Paint.net can use PSDs (Photoshop files). You can download that here:

Now you just need to acquaint yourself with Paint.net and you?re good to go. Here?s a link to the FAQ which details all
the basics. You?ll want to read up on at least the tools menu, magic wand, the layers window, the image menu,

It’s no substitute for actual skill or design, but it’s still kind of fun to mess around with. Remember to download
the template on the first page as a PSD.
If you?re just going to use one high resolution image then it’s really easy. Open up that image in Paint.net as well
as the template. Press Control-A to select the entire image. Copy the image.
Paste into the background layer of the template. Keep the canvas size the same if it asks you if you want to expand it.
Zoom out so you can see the edges of your image. Hold down the shift key and pull down on the corner until
the image is the right size. Move it to the correct position on the template. Bam, done.

Currently a ruff draft of what I am trying to do for my TE. Gotta download the mockup file so I can try that as well. Any thoughts or critiques would be helpful.
Took the advice to heart, i.e. realized it was crap. Gonna stick to the less is more adage and just use the Samus art.
Still messing around with the exact placement. Damn those holes are hard to work around!
a bit too much contrast of colors between the first and 2nd/3rd pic imho. i would try to connect the 2 last ones and make a nice whole picture instead of 3 seperate ones, but its your stick :wgrin: fei long-yellow theme looks good

Anyone know or have a picture of what the background to this layout should be? I know it wasn’t solid black.
Could someone please make me a template with this or tell me how im so confused i get the picture on it but dunno how to get buttons and stick to show but yea i need a vega

Working on a template here and I’m in need of some of these buttons :hk::mp::mk::lp::lk::hp: ect. ect. ect.
problem is the only ones I can find are vary low res. I tried blowing them up a bit and it just looks bad!
