Used a Sakura image I saw on this thread to make this Sakura themed TE stick art that ill be using. Made it today and its my first try, but I like it =). I wanna see what people think.

Chun Li Art
I got the Chun Li game sprites from a Google image search. The background of her stage I scanned from a book I have. The larger picture of her standing I got off of a Google search as well.
Hoff that looks way better with colored circles than white ones, heh. I think the SF4 logo and your name currently look shoehorned in. If you could make their placement look more natural, that would help.
Yea I thought it looked odd so I plugged in what it would look like with the buttons and stick and realized it looks pretty good IMO. I dunno how else to put the logo on there, the logo isn’t very high res and I don’t want to stretch it.

The PSD for this file is at www.dcorti.com/TETemplates it is called Master Template. The layer that is the marble background/mead notebook pattern is a layer style. Double-click the layer Backgound 1 and adjust the scale bar for Pattern Overlay, and you can get it where you want it.

It wasn’t ugly back then, just looking back now, kinda like the 80’s. It was so cool to have huge hair and wear muscle net shirts with flat tops. :lol:
A: I want to add some text/gfx or something to the top left, just not sure what. If anyone has a good idea or could whoop a layer in PS together that’d be epic, if not I’ll figure something out.

C. Looks like she’s on the crapper IMO (I can see the exercise ball but still) LOL. B. I like this one the most and IMO would be the best with a wood case.
Looks really good. The colors match very well and Sakura is large enough without getting too much obscured.
My only suggestion is that the space in the upper right seems rather bare. Extending the ray won’t do it, but some kind of image should go there.
I don?t have any real sense of design or a strong grasping of image editing software so I had to stick to the icky collage method for my template.
The result was more or less in line with my expectations. It?s not pretty but it gets the job done. I just wanted something to replace that stock art and show some individual flair.
Problem is I only have two red and six blue buttons, so the color scheme isn?t a perfect match. Oh well.

I?ll probably type up a little guide for people who want to make their own templates with a very basic level of complexity since so many people ask for others to make templates for them.
It?s really quite easy, especially if you?re just using an image or two and not actually designing the background to really interact with the art or adding in the ink effect or other things of that nature.
Brawndo those art styles just clash against each other, man. The Samus drawing sticks out the most. Also saving it as a gif instead of a jpeg probably isn’t doing it any favors.
Bigsnowleopards, A and B are both good choices. I do like B best and C would be a big mistake. I assume you want to add something to the top-right, not the top-left, huh? The Turbo/Guide panel would get in the way.
indeed, you lose a lot of colors going the .gif over .jpg route… when you did the crop of samus just add a little bit of feather to it to get rid of the jagged cutout look…

Skitso you do type horribly. Reading everything you say is really unpleasant. Raeli was being pretty hard on you, but you could try to use better English and spelling so that it’s more pleasant to communicate with you.

Or you could not talk like a cave man. That way nobody gets mad at you and the board isn’t polluted with a bunch of cell phone text messages. In my solution, everybody wins.
