this would need case painting…but i think would be pretty sick…props to whoever found the SScream a couple pages back.

That was my intension when I first designed the template. Having not done the mod myself (LL order delay) I can only answer your other questions based on observation.
To the best of my knowledge, someone please correct me, the button cut guides in the original templates actually indicate outer dimension of the installed button. (this is where the ‘white rings’ around the buttons come from if you print the white cut guides and then apply the art inaccurately, then cut the holes).
Since Aran was the first to use the template, I modified the template based on his input. Taking the Crash Jems out allows for not-so-accurate application/cutting of the artwork. I can restore the Jems back to their original button size, but it will require very precise cutting.
As for the outer ring actually being visable trough the clear buttons, I couldn’t say, but from all the pics I’ve seen that use clear buttons, they all seem to have the same gray ring, which is either an optical effect of the plastic, or they cut the hole based on the template and thats the metal plate underneath…I’ll send the original template with “fullsize” buttons soon.
I’m not sure this is the thread to ask in, but I am trying to print a TE PSD on Kinkos website. I changed the file to a PFD but it wants custom instructions on what size to print it out at. Any ideas?

You can always make a clear dust plate. It’s not really that hard. You need a small sheet (or piece) of Lexan, a whole cutter, and a drill obviously.

Obviously, clear buttons will work best with these templates, but if you aren’t using them, I can do versions without the logo
