Anyway, I modified and cleaned up the picture as best I could. Going to get some advice from a friend of mine who can possibly make the image look a bit more “streamlined” though the pic was high resolution, it originated as a scan. Through filters and modification, it looks a bit less like it came off paper. Thickened some edges, and gave the corner symbol some more pop. Perhaps some clear buttons, a red bubble ball for the stick and going to see what I can do to paint and clearcoat the actual plastic of the SE to a glossy black.
Probably going to have to darken the image a bit. Her hair is so fair I can barely see the bottom right outline of the turbo switch selector area on the top left. But I’m not very good with Photoshop, but hey, gotta use it to learn it right?
Any suggestions as to making perhaps the image better, and maybe lining her up more? I’m pretty serious about commiting to this. So any help would be appreciated. Good luck on all your work people.

Can yo post links to hi-res versions of the cannon drill and lightening legs images - I found hi-res standing poses, but not those specials - are there similiar ones for other sig moves by other characters?
I’m having a printing problem and I’m wondering if anyone more knowledgable than I can help me out.
I printed my hires template on an Epson Stylus R1900, but the colors changed quite a bit. Many of the dark blues have become off greens and the color itself doesn’t seem very vibrant. I’m wondering a few things.
1.) I printed on matte, so the paper absorbed the ink. Is this why the image isn’t vibrant. How normal is this? I knew it would take out some of the color, but mine looks downright BLAND now.
2.) The printer does not appear to have a dpi setting on the printer itself. Is it safe to just assume it tunes itself to photoshop when I print?
3.) On a similar note, the printer doesn’t seem to state a native color format (RGB vs CMYK). As far as I know, most personal printers use RGB, but again, is this usually something that can be tuned or no?
Can anyone give me any tips on how to make sure the color of my print is as close as possible to the colors shown in my file? I would suggest other people be careful with this as well. Having a nice mockup/template is great, but it won’t matter if it doesn’t transfer to the paper properly.
That’s very small - since it’s black and white - a bit of blurring should take care of things, but is there a higher-res version available - or is it a transformation of another set of images that can be sourced in high-res? (I could re-transform them myself)
You gotta use photo-paper or other high-quality printing media. Spare no expense so to speak.
Also, you want to transform it into CMYK before printing or at least look at it that way in your graphics editor since that’s the pallate that most printers use.
Unfortunately, that is the only resolution I could find of the image. I know the quality is below optimal conditions, but I figured if someone could invert the colors so that the background is white and use the black outline of the character and Kanji symbol, something could be done with it. I could try to find another source image all together if that is unusable – I’m just trying to keep it as simple as possible, any other effects I leave to you.
I appreciate your consideration in doing this template for me, whatever is done I plan to get it printed on polycarbinate laminate.
