This option is as near as you can get to filter out countries with a huge distance to you. English is a default,so even chinese can have english as his search priority. And some players just want to play against a foreigh country.
I wish it would show everyone who’s online and their ping to me,but you can’t have everything. Learn to live with what you got there.
Simple way will be not to choose english as a search priority. As explaind above,it’s a default language. I rarely choose it myself. Go with French,Deutsch,Italian,Espaniol,Russian. Bunch of good players there(France especially)
G1 games are hard to find, but it depends on the day and time also. Sometimes you will find several players waiting, and other times it’ll be empty for hours.
You can send friend requests to good players on the replay list. I sent plenty of friend requests during G2 also so there are usually some friends to play in player matches when championship is empty.
I hope many players join G1 because championship is an awesome mode but it needs a large player base to work.
Game could run with that card, but as I told you it will not work well. You need a better computer not only better card. You can build a new gaming computer (only the case and components, using your current mouse, keyboard and monitor) for 300-400 euros for Street Fighter 4 and capable of playing almost all current PC Games comfortably.

Ranked match and Player match are way better in terms of connection.
I choose Custom match and setup everything to Any in both modes and there are very many good connections.
Only CP mode sucks for me, there are like no players right there, I basically can’t get from G3 (emptyness) to G2 (crowdy paradise), because there is no one to fight against.
What the hell? I just got through to the finals of a Championship match and lost. So I go to play another match and when before it loads the ready screen it says connection lost. ‘Whatever’ I think and press OK. Then I get that message saying “since there was a connection error you gotta start from the beginning”; I look at my GP and it’s gone back to what it was before I lost that final! :arazz:
Can anyone help me here? Every damn time I try to login it prompts me about updating, and when I do it fills the bar and then it doesn’t do anything else. How exactly can I update it? I can’t even play any matches online because of this, it really sucks. I tried searching forums but all I found was info for Fallout 3, apparently you can get manual patches. I can’t find any for SF4.
with the recent explosion of people impressively hacking and modding SF IV PC for new skins, move sets and such, has anyone looked into the possibility of hacking the game, getting access to its netcode, and improving it?
What are the chances Ponder, Damdai or someone with similar netcode experience can improve the netcode and make it more like GGPO, and perhaps add stuff like spectating mode, etc?
