You haven’t said where you do live… You might try the regional matchmaking threads to find people who live near you.

wtf, how do you show more than three people ata a time in the list? :wow:
lol do you live on the moon? I’m playing in southeastern United States where barely anyone plays PC, and I’m still getting decent pings playing a guy in Europe. I’m just playing with a standard cable connection.
So idk what the problem is where you live. I get a lot of people with crap pings too but I just keep refreshing til I find a good match
Yeah I’m wondering the same thing
Most people in championship aren’t that good… whenever I can get a game going I too dominate for the most part.
To see more than three people at a time, go to custom match and set all options to ANY
How do i block ppl in this game?
Did you even play SF4 on consoles before ?
Hold the stick backwards. :chat:
yesterday i played a guy in championchip mode
and i saw something that i couldnt believe
i was like o.O wtf
this guys ken wears the alternate outfit
how is that possible didnt see any dlc for the pc version ??
They are files online which you use to overwrite the original files. Also can be done by other means
I am beyond frustrated.
In the past three days I have been trying to get past this error message I get after “Downloading profile” for windows live.
I get to an error that says “The LIVE service may be unavailable, or there may be an issue with your home networking equipment”.
I have done literally everything that I can.
I have forwarded all my ports, checked if they were forwarded correctly (Which they were), I have turned all of my firewalls off, formatted my hard drive, and the problem STILL persists.
What can I do? I’m running out of hope, I really wanted to play this online too… that’s why I dropped money on this game and a new gamepad.
Problem solved.
Apparently, I didn’t wait long enough for my Live/xbox account to be created.
After about 30 minutes of trying, I was able to log in and play.
Lovin’ this. The player pool isn’t as expansive as the console, but this gets the job done for me. Thoroughly happy. BTW, I’m in the Central Virginia area getting great connections from a bunch of players. wo0t. >_<
Yeah,i figured some smart jokes may appear.
Ps: Btw,someone played dude named CAPTEN AWES0ME(in that exact writing)? During my game with him screen suddenly turned in to this after a few seconds of the first round, and only cleared after the match has ended(in me losing, naturally). Never happend before, never after. Delicious.
Click on the person in your windows live friend’s list and there should be an option on the right to block them.
Damn you, I was going to make this joke.
I’ve gotten horrible horrible lag sometimes input sometimes terrible slowdowns. i’m in new york. offline worked flawlessly. no networking troubles like firewalls or blocked ports either. http://www.speedtest.net/result/516079668.png
edit:also i had framerate fixed
play sf4 without bottlenecking

You should run the game just fine. Just make sure you’re running the latest drivers for your graphics card and it’ll work out great. :smokin:
thank you i remeber i had a bit of trouble running mirrors edge because my drivers werent updated and it shut my laptop off twice but thanks for the help
To quote: The release of the PC version of Street Fighter IV confirms that the alternate costumes were already included on the retail disc to begin with and we have the proof.
Just to point out also, many of the unlockable costumes (minus the extra characters added in the console release) were already included in the arcade version of Street Fighter IV so they are not exactly new.
The PC version of Street Fighter IV seems to be ported from the Xbox 360 version, complete with fragments of left over code referring back to when T. Hawk and Dee Jay were planned.
On the retail disc, all the alternate costume files are in plain site in each characters folders.
i didnt know that
