Out of curiosity, does anyone know how far Leon Kennedy was from missing the top 10? I know RE5 is the most recent in the franchise, but I think Leon and Ada would have made a much more interesting team than Chris, who is totally dull and always has been, and Jill, who used to be cool but now is just kinda looking like every other video game girl.
yeah, RE4 was massively more popular than RE5.
Leon would have been the mad hotness over Chris, especially with that sweet ass bomber jacket. Not sure how cool Ada would have been, she’d probably have guns and a grappling hook gimmick of some kind. You are right about the poor decision to use RE5 Jill instead of classic Jill. She look almost identical to Nina in her purple jumpsuit from Tekken/Death by degrees. Maybe even a little like Samus.

I just wanted me some ShadowCat/Kitty Pryde =( but it’ll still be fun with the people we already have.
All my Marvel choices got in - Psylocke, Venom, Doctor Strange - but none of my Capcom ones - Mega Man Classic, Date Masamune and Vergil. Ah well, 3 out of 6 is pretty good.

No love for Apocalypse?? He would be much more interesting than Sentinel ( who is just a boring bland robot ) And much more interesting than the current villains in the roster ( Dormammu and MODOK, both obscure uninteresting characters)

I wish I could change my votes, though. Would’ve gone for a much less obscure selection.
Doc was crap for a good chunk of time (about the same chunk comics in general were crap) but he’s become a much more significant and popular character these days. He’s not even sorcerer supreme anymore, but he still got more face time than the current one (who they killed off like a month later) But as much as I love the character, I have no desire to see him in this game. Dormammu more than handles the magic type business.
I agree with the opposite of everything you just said. I’ve always thought Apocalypse was lame and one dimensional and he really doesn’t have any notable abilities that would be interesting/work in this game.
Blood would be awesome. Saturn would be the antithesis of awesome.

Dormammu is not so bad, i can live with him. But MODOK is just waste of a good character space. And so is Sentinel. Sentinel could be replaced with Apocalypse or Bastion.

You may think he is lame. That is your opinion. But no abilities that can work in this game?? Apocalypse is perfect for this a fighting game because since he can do basically everything (changing sizes, shooting beams, transforming his arms in whatever he wants) he can have a big and distinguished move set.
Even you dont lime him you have to admit that Sentinel is a waste of a character slot. Bastion would be much better. Or even Ninrod.

I think in a popular pool MODOK wouldnt even be in the top 100 of a good character to get in a fight game.
