I preordered Sonic Unleashed but idk if I want to pick it up or just Gamefly it. It looked like they were going in the right direction before the whole Werewolf thing. I need to get back on Sonic 2 so I can get my achievement for beating it in under an hour, I can do that shit easy. Back in the day I was getting it in like 20 something minutes. I played that game literally every fucking day when I was younger.

It’s not out yet. I’m just lamenting the claims of preordering. I might be overreacting though, since you can always shift the preorder amount to something else (at most stores).
It’s just aggravating to see this happen every time a new Sonic Team game is announced:
- Game announced
- Gamers remember the crappiness of the last game, swear new game must prove itself before it’s purchased
- A few graphically impressive shots and videos are released, sometimes accompanied by bitchin’ music
- Gamers suddenly forget the attrocities of the past
- Gameplay is shown, usually featuring the same flawed gameplay of past titles, sometimes with new WTFness (e.g., werehog, carrying Elise)
- Gamers say they’re going to buy the game day 1 without first waiting for reviews or impressions
- Sega gets money and assumes it’s a sign that this is what gamers want
- Repeat
There hasn’t been any reviews on the game yet…just previews. From what’s been said so far Sonic levels = :woot:, Were hog levels = ehhhhh…i da knoooowwww…
I’m putting in my bet right now that the game will probably get around a 7.5…an 8 at the most depending upon how bad the reviewer wants to hate on werehog levels
if you do preorder at gamestop you can get your money back (though they’d prefer if you move the money over to a different game) so there isn’t any harm in preording it. Plus it’s held for 2 days…which should be enough time for reviews if you want to hold off on grabbing it Day 1. I already have this game reserved since when it was first announced along with Black Knight.

- camera issues are noticable when you come to certain points…like the enemy sections with sonic as it changes from 3d to 2d…non so far with werehog but im not that far or maybe I am…
2.you learn new abilities as you progress with werehog…you can chain up combos and strings and can get achievements for it…werehog’s boss battles are good…
- something from sonic 06…death glitches… if .you cant control sonic at certain points you will fly off the screen…

Are camera issues 06/Shadow the Hedgehog bad?
Most important question RE: this… Besides Tails, are Blaze and Vector in it at all? This is truly important.
Without ever having played it, I’m almost completely certain this is wrong. Especially given the following:

Sonic Adventure. Sonic Adventure 2. Adventure 2 Battle. Adventure DX. Heroes. Shadow. '06 on 360. Secret Rings. '06 on PS3. And now Unleashed. This is Sonic’s TENTH major 3D title, and the camera issues are still there.

I suppose that’s okay. Crash Warped (a far better game than all the 3D Sonic’s put together) has upgrades for Crash and they added to the game.

the game is finished and polished nicely…you dont even notice it until you transition

my view is this…when I first played sonic 06 -I was like wtf is this trash?- why is sonic JOGGING!!! mach speed segments are terrible

Why is the PS3 version of Unleashed coming out two weeks after the other versions?
They had two separate teams working on the xbox and ps3 versions so maybe the ps3 team had a delay or something.
I thought that the separate teams were Wii/PS2 and PS3/360. The PS3 and 360 versions were supposed to be identical.
