Sega is aware that Sonic games have been declining in quality…
Just got Sonic Rush in and it’s just so much fun! Played 3 stages or so. I can definitely see the “hold right and win” thing, but there is some platforming in there. It can only get better, right?
Yeah, it gets trickier later on. And once you learn to use the Boost and Trick systems correctly, going for S-ranks is hella fun.
Got an email from BioWare with an “insider video” of Chronicles. Will watch and give impressions soon.
Very very true. This the only case where holding right is ok but I still miss platforming a lot.
After you finish Sonic Rush you need to get Adventure. The bosses just kick ass.
Yeah. The boss of the industrial-themed zone is really cool. The levels are good too IMO, possibly better than in the first one.
And actually, I like the jetski and sailboat stages too. Chaos Emerald races!
So the video is apparently the first of several, all found here:

Not much info at the moment, though.
nice find
I just cant wrap my brain around the fast paced world of Sonic being shoe-horned into a sluggish rpg format. I actually think I have higher hopes for that Black Knight game than I do with Chronicles, even though Sonic with a sword is all kinds of redundant.
wow…I don’t remember this commercial
Nice find, Honey bee got his ass whooped.
Awesome find.
new vid was posted up on the sonic chronicles insider thing on youtube

^ Much hotness. Though not info we haven’t already seen, it’s good that Bioware is keeping the videos coming.
Bioware does western RPGs, which I do not play, so I’m not sure if it’s the same, but I don’t think it’s supposed to be. Western RPGs are all like WoW or something aren’t they?
Not entirely. As for Sonic Chronicles, check out the videos (the last few pages of the thread has plenty). Though designed in Canada it plays like Mario RPG.
I just had to share this: .
It just… works so well.
Yeah it does. It’s pretty nice.

uh…didn’t notice that Werehog’s shoes grow cleats underneath them…
So I watched Sonic Shorts 4… During the menu animation, what is the fourth transformation that they show Sonic in? It goes from Sonic, to 2D Super Sonic, to 3D Super Sonic, to something?, to Darkspine Sonic, to Were-hog Sonic, to Hyper Sonic.
