Ok, here I am, eating my words.
I finally got around to playing Sonic Rush Adventure again, and I can honestly say my opinion on it has been turned around. As long as I skip the cutscenes, that is

I still think that the game would be better off without everything surrounding the main levels though. But I feel the jetski/boat missions can actually be pretty fun.
The main level design seems better than Sonic Rush, with fewer bottomless pits and better enemy placement.

Ive been playing Sonic Unleashed. its actually pretty solid. Got it for $18 brand new. Ima get that Sonic - Black Knight eventually. Ive always liked sonic games. With the exception of Sonic 06 and Shadow the hedghog they were all pretty decent. imo. Sonic CD was ok. i bought into the hype, but i like sonic 2 better than CD.

Funny story I have about Unleashed PS3; I was playing the Mizuri night Stage 1 and died a few times at the end point, by then I’d spent 20 mins. trying to beat it! I got frustrated and decided to restart the level again, only this time I managed to avoid dieing AND I checked up Sonic’s movelist, which included a ShoHogKen! When I finally beat the stage, I’d thought I’d get a B or C grade, but lo and behold: My first S rank!
Bioware did a damn good job considering what they were doing (1st DS game and making an RPG with sonic in it). I enjoyed it and I’m waiting for word on the sequal.

wooo…there’s a nice chunk of story and then the fight sequence…oh man…I don’t wanna give it away. It ends on a cliffhanger though just giving a warning.

I’m gonna assume he meant to mispell Chaotix on purpose…in any case, I’ve only played a little bit of Knux’ Chaotix and from what little I did play the music didn’t stick. This track is pretty chip tuney so if you’re into that stuff and you’ve played this game then you’ll probably dig this mix.

The name for this song is so fitting too since that’s exactly what this song sounds like where a band is just jamming out on the stage in a night club. I see not many liked Sonic CD. As a kid I really liked Sonic CD. But Sonic 3 and Knuckles was much better.
So there’s a new world record for speedrunning the first level of Sonic 1 - 22 seconds. Even if the article says its the original Sonic but puts an image of Sonic 2, the caption makes up for it.

Might as well get it. You don’t normally get the chance to carry a part of your childhood around in your pocket. Would be nice to add a little extra though; make something of that scrapped beta material.

what a worthless compilation. congrats sega for charging what, $20 on a few megs of data? I thought this would be a re-release of the that genesis compilation released a while back, that I would have considered purchasing. not this.
nnnnoope…pretty silent about it right now besides that halloween trailer with the House of the Dead Zombie. No date officially either besides Q1.
I also find it funny that there hasn’t been at least 1 screen shot on project needlemouse since that’s coming out next year as well.
Hmmm. As long as they don’t eff it up like Sonic the Hedgehog on the GBA, I’m sold.
My question is…why sold on this? There are countless mediums to play these exact same games on. They’re great games, sure, but is replaying them on the DS worth buying them yet again?
